It looked like it maintained its shape in the picture but it does not. I guess that's okay but it's hard to dig down when it's all collapsed to find things you want. It could use some inside pockets.

Lightweight, very. i'm concerned about putting anything 'substantial' in it. I don't know how much weight the straps can hold. I might be concerned for nothing. I haven't 'tested' it yet. Fold-able, yes - In fact you could ball it up if you were so inclined. Water resistant, the fabric - However - the top flap isn't wide enough to absolutely cover the sides at the top - there can be gaps. If you are concerned about something getting wet put it in a plastic bad or something. (I'm the person that has all sizes of zipper top plastic bags. Be Advised - when they took the picture they filled it with something probably foam, to - imho - to give the illusion of structure. I'm fairly sure if you fill it, it will look like that too otherwise it will just hang down. Look at the picture again. Note how the flap cover is at the top. It's JUST covering the sides. When the bag isn't full the bag hangs differently so the flap may not necessarily cover the whole top. The reality is, for the price... It's ok. ... show more
