Description

You will receive a sheet of 4D CARBON FIBER VINYL WRAP with Air Release . Our new 4D carbon fiber vinyl is a high-end vinyl that is different from 3D carbon fiber vinyl on the market. It reflects light the same way that real carbon fiber would and gives a more realistic look! Our Automotive Wrap Vinyl Sheets can be applied to your car's hood, trunk, roof, dashboard, gauges, interior, amplifiers, wheels, mirrors, door handles, glass, cellphones, laptops, iPods, motorcycle parts, metal parts and just about any relatively non-porous surface. The film is coated with a UV coating which will last up to 5 years outdoor and 10 years indoor. Once applied and bonded to your surface you may clean it with any type of cleaning agent that is used for painted surfaces. The material is soft and flexible allowing it to conform for contoursing and bending easily. If the vinyl wrinkled during the delivery period or when you peel it off, it can still be unwrinkle after you use a heat gun to heat it. After applying the Vinyl Sheet, simply trim the excess vinyl with a sharp blade or hobby knife (not included). Creases and air bubbles can be removed by applying heat and using a squeegee. It has a self adhesive backing, which has a cover that you peel off as you place it up on the wall or door, or whereever you would like. Great for scrapping, making models, the list is endless. Rapid release adhesive . Water resistant & UV protected . Super thin (0.19mm) to fit in most tight spots or corners Can be cleaned with soap and water . Easier than I thought it was! I wrapped my hood and my duck tail spoiler with no experience at all... ( one youtube video and one Tick Tock 🤪🙂 ) A heat gun my be useful on the edges, pretty flexible and stretchable material, good quality as well and good looking pattern. I have worked with Vivid 3D wraps before and those superior in quality. This stuff, DIYAH 4D was pure frustration and close to junk level. This DIYAH of course was way cheaper than the Vivid 3D that I had used before, but I got what I paid for, a cheap and junk level product. Learn my lesson and stay away from this as it was a waste of time and resources. Pro: The product earned two stars because of the 1) sticky adhesion 2) the nice graphics. But that is all it has going for it. Cons: 1) it ripped a few time while I was pulling. 2) It left stretch marks which left wrinkles that could not be relaxed by heat-gun which left more wrinkles. Very frustrating. 3. Melts very easily which means it's not pliable. Does to go back to it's original shape after heat applied to it. It's stiff and difficult to contour even the slightest curve. As for function, that is to be determine. I installed it on the front of my adventure campervan. We shall see if it holds up and protects the hood. Recommendation: Save your frustration and hard earned money and just buy Vivid 3D wraps. It's stretches, it works well with heat a gun and very forgiving meaning you will have a lot less wrinkles. ... show more

Don't get me wrong, this is definitely a quality product. It looks better than some more expensive options. It conforms well to the surface and around corners. Seems to have decent adhesion and while not as good as others it does have a very functional air release system. About a year ago I wrapped my roof with it and I can say that during that time there has been only a slight fade in color with no other issues. The corners and edges are still just as good as the day I installed it and there is no peeling or cracking. It does stretch fairly well and in order to glass it out you will need heat. I'll say it again, heat is your friend here. Now here's where the but comes in. I would not want this to be my first wrap experience. You don't need to be a master but have a few under your belt before you go this route. You'll ruin it before you have it bubble free and looking good. All things considered, this is my third purchase and I have no problem in recommending this to others. ... show more

Air release works but is Mid. Pattern is convincing. Watch out for deformation if too much heat is applied in the glassing stage. Adhesion is good, nothing like some of the more known brands but stick very well. Caution: watch out for failing clear coat for the adhesive will remove it if not prepared properly. I applied it dry. 4 stars because it is not glossy. More like a dry carbon with a very little amount of gloss. Package came undamaged. Rolled well, I did not have any wrinkles towards the end of the roll. We will see how long it lasts. ... show more

The part where I have mixed feelings about the product. I'm not entirely sure if its my lack of ever wrapping a car or what. I have installed window tint fairly well on my cars so i figured I'd tackle wrapping my hood. I used 2 different types of applicators on 2 attempts both of which i used in the past and the glue just wouldn't dry enough to stick and form it. Maybe I used too much? I never had that as an issue before. I tried forming around the edges to get them to hold the rest of the wrap but, rather quickly, the glue stopped clinging. With that said I ripped the first attempt off and started a second. With my second attempt I decided to use a bit less of the applicator. I peeled the backing off one side, applied and started to peel off the other half but I didnt, i guess, put enough applicator down before it stuck to the car and, well, it ripped instantly. As far as the product texture itself: sexy. Looks Beautiful. Not horribly glossy as to look fake. As far as how it applies? meh. I'm looking elsewhere on my next attempt. Bitter sweet because it looked great. but hey, 30 bucks on a learning experience? ... show more
