I got this set for my 9yo daughter. She was over the moon for this set! (Although the name should not be DUMB purple, but maybe DARK purple?) This comes with a nice assortment of paper clips, washi tape, stickers, pens, glue stick, etc. It's a great starter for young people. The paper is bright white, and I was not noticing much bleed-through on the pages. The pens are decent quality and lay down a good dark line. I ordered this journal set for my daughter because she loves to get creative and make her own comic/story books out of these sets. Once she saw it she thought of her friend with an upcoming birthday and wanted to gift it to her instead (she had just told her about wanting a journal for her birthday so this was perfect timing). This journal set includes art supplies with it: sheets of stickers, pens, glitter tape, glue, etc. all in a box. My one suggestion is to remove the word (Dumb...) in the color option as I think this is meant to say "Dark" perhaps. The notebook is about 5“x8“ and has unlined pages. It has a cardboard cover that reads „create something fun“ inside the front and back covers. The paper is about the weight of computer paper and is a bright white color. I would think most young ones would have fun gluing, stickering and taping the pages. My daughter picked this set over some others and is very happy with her choice. There are many fun additions like fancy paper clips, magnetic bookmarks, pens, glue, tape and a fancy metal shell clip to decorate the outside spine. I would feel good about gifting this set to one of my daughter‘s classmates. $20 is an okay price, but I’d be happier to recommend it with a coupon. ... show more
