Took them a good three hours but they had so much fun laying everything out, figuring out what went where, and putting it together. Overall, if you're looking for a fun gift for a kiddo, this is definitely a good pickup! This is a great wooden building puzzle! The pieces are nicely cut out and all labeled well. They fit together nicely without too much force. The end product is just adorable, and I love this! I use this as a way to positively use speech with my kiddo who has severe apraxia. As we go over speech cards, ask questions, etc. he puts down different pieces to either put the puzzle together, build characters using the cards the puzzle provided or whatever. He loves it. It helps him concentrate and gets him interested in whatever we're going over at the time. And as he puts it together I use the opportunity to talk or ask questions about colors, shapes, etc. ... show more
