So I got this for grandson and another grandson like child for Christmas. Not sure how the other goes. When they came I was very upset. I was set back by the item in package seeming so…. Thin, low quality and such . Then Christmas Day came and was still a little unsure. But then before it was even used a liquid disaster plagued the one at my house. It wiped off very well but immediately went into laundry alone on a gentle setting etc. Well it came out of the dryer the way it came out of the package (anotyer pause to my concerns). These are basically like a felt mat but little more stiff. Very light and foldable. Great colors and you can connect all from either side. I thought they might be heavier or more like the rugs where they don't dip in when kids sit to play on them moving the cars when playing on carpet and slippery on wood flooring. I purchased the City Mat for my students. When it arrived, I was excited then somewhat disappointed. The quality is not the best and I understand it was only $15. It is a thin mat which is fine for the price however, the graphic has a saloon as one of the places! Why is that on a children's play mat?!?! I can't use this in my classroom. Bought this for a birthday present and the kids loved it. It is a nice play mat and much more reasonably priced than some of the others. It is not as thick (it's not a rug), but a thin play mat. I bought this for my grandson to play on. When I opened the package it was a pure disappointment. Its so flimsy it tore with in ten minutes of play on first time he played with it. Yeah he got ONE play on it the day it arrived and it ripped. Its about as thick as a felt square. Its on the small size. THAT I did expect and actually did want a small mat not a huge one. There is no backing to it at all. It has deep ridges from the fold. It will not lay flat with out a lot of help from some Gramma made "hay bales". I had to wrap construction paper around a couple of cans of vegetables and set those on the corner to keep it reasonably flat to play on. Dont waste your money on this piece of garbage. Add 20 bucks to it and go to Tractor Supply and get a GOOD one that is an actual rug. ... show more
