I tried a local store & got an XL. It was way too small. I carry most of my weight waist down. Short at 5’2”. Got these in 2XL. Measured and thought I’d be ok. The foot was too big(8.5 shoes). I still had pitting lines at my ankles. And was too tight at the top of my calf. The top band isn’t all that wider. Having had clots I worried about any circulation impairment. And the socks were longer than my lower legs. I opted to keep these and hope they stretch out some with wear and washing.

I am a diabetic and have neuropathy in my feet. These are knee top socks and not so snug around the calf, I am a mens 12.5 D width shoe so I bought the 3x and the 2x, both were very easy to put on, The 3x fall down but still snug at the ankle and foot. My foot doctor wanted me to see a vein doctor. My GP said, if you go to a vein doctor, they will want to cut you and operate. Try the compression socks first. My left foot and ankle swelled to twice the size like Fred Flintstone feet, to the point where I needed two different shoe sizes. After trying on these socks for several hours, THE RESULTS WERE AMAZING, MY LEFT FOOT AND ANKLE WERE NORMAL, AFTER 6 STRAIGHT HOURS OF CONSTANT STANDING AND WALKING, I FELT GREAT AND MY FOOT HAS NOT SWELLED SINCE, WHILE I TAKE THEM OFF AT NIGHT, IN T5HE MORNING AND THRU OUT THE DAY, I AM GREAT, THE PAIN AND SWELLING HAS IS GREATLY DIMINISHED.

I had started a return for these compression socks because they were too thick and way too long. I was wrong, and I decided to keep them, after giving them another try! They are perfect for cool weather. The first time I put them on, they were so long that I had to fold over several inches, which is counter-productive for compression socks, which aim to move blood flow UP towards the heart. The next time I tried, I didn’t try to pull them tightly up, but rather gathered them around my calf as I gradually and gently pulled them up. The fit has been perfect. I’m female, 5’3” They are easy enough to put on, if you follow the instructions. Pull the sock over your arm, and with the same hand, pinch the inner heel between your thumb and forefingers. Pull the sock down, inside out, over your arm, and remove from your arm, releasing the heel. You’ll see that you have created a pocket, in which you insert your foot. Once your foot is positioned in the sock, gently pull up, while circling the calf with your thumbs to smooth as you go. Wearing thin rubber gloves can also help. I have been struggling with putting on compression socks and stockings for months. Finally, it’s easy and has become habit. I hope someone else can benefit from this counsel!

Very comfortable. I used to get swelling every day. After wearing this socks, I don’t get the swelling and heaviness. I take them off at night and sleep with my legs elevated. My legs have greatly improved since wearing them. Pain and redness in my shin has almost gone away after one week wearing them.

These do a great job with the compression but the toe area is uncomfortable. The seam is straight across and when I put my sneakers on it presses in the side of my baby toe and starts to cause a blister.
