Bought a bunch when we were all required to wear face masks everywhere. I still keep a few in my purse to use if I need to. I am immunosuppressed, so I may put one on if people are coughing up phlegm in a public place ( yuck. ) It is easy to breath while wearing these masks.

Color matches that of the photo. We purchased purple. The thickness feels similar to other masks. So far, all the masks' ear elastic has NOT broken. The ear elastic is covered by soft fabric and comfortable. There is metal inside to fit the mask to your nose. No issues with the quality. The packaging was absolutely inadequate for storing the masks until use. Very small plastic bag. Had to take them out of that bag and stick them in a ziploc bag for storage. So the bag could be sealed every time a mask is removed. To make it easier to separate the masks too, as the packaging that came with the masks made it difficult to separate them. Causing excess handling. Even with gloves, that means the bag remains open longer. These were purchased for home use, (to take with us when we go out) and we do not have a lot of visitors, so not a huge issue. However, if you are thinking of using them for a business, or medical office, where there are a number of new people in the room where the masks are stored, the packaging is woefully inadequate. Especially with the transmission potential of the new virus variants. ... show more

I got the blue standard looking masks. These are not medical grade as they are not approved by the FDA and they are made in China however they don't claim to be medical grade. These are comfortable from initial try on. I haven't worn these out yet. Good enough for a trip to the grocery store or out and about. I would wear these under a cloth mask for better protection if you are in a high risk area. The ear loops are soft and don't hurt my ears. I didn't notice any chemical smell or anything. They are light weight and breathable but still feel like they offer some protection. They came in a box and were wrapped in plastic. The only thing I don't really like is the nose piece. I wish the nose piece was a bit more flexible but other than that I'm not disappointed. Sorry my eye is red because I have seasonal allergies but I wanted to show what they look like on my face. I have a large face so these fit me well, if you have a smaller face they might be a bit big or leave gaps at the sides but for me they didn't. ... show more

I am a bit over zealous when it comes to masks. When this whole pandemic got started, I was researching and buying all the masks I could. After going through literally dozens of masks, I realized I have to have a bendable nose strip and I prefer "surgical" disposable masks. Came on Amazon looking around and found these. Let me tell you, these are my new favorite. I can breath in them. They don't fog up my glasses. They aren't "hot" to wear. They cover my face well and have a close, tight fit. The pleats on the side feel almost like they grip, but not in an annoying way. Recently the cafeteria at work had a freezer go down. Everyone was complaining about how terrible the smell was, but I couldn't smell it with my mask on so I know its blocking things. The only down side, which is a given, is that after 7 hours in the office, they make my face feel VERY dry. I know I am supposed to through them away each day, but I have been able to get multiple days uses out of them. I am down to maybe my last 10-15 and just now had one break a strap. I bought a pack of the gray and a pack of green. This is also the 3rd or 4th different vendor I've purchased mask from on Amazon. The average time it took for me to receive my items from the previous sellers was 6-8 days, but to my surprise I had these on my doorstep in just under 48 hours. The colors are both good, but the gray ones are by far my favorite and even look better than in the picture. They have the standard 3 layers of material for filtration with a built-in wire for molding over your nose. The actual plys seem thicker than the others I've had, but without making the mask any more bulky or restricting breathing. I haven't done any scientific testing, but they have me at least feeling more protected. Plus, they have thicker/squishier ear loops that don't make my ears hurt when wearing them for my 12 hour work shifts. Some people complain about the smell or the creases from vacuum sealed packages, but both are typical things that sometimes occur when sealing items directly after the manufacturing process. It says right on the package to open it to release the vacuum and to let them sit for 24 hours to expand. Most of any smell will air out in that time too. ... show more

Love the color- perfect for my union! However I have to wear it over another mask because, like the blue surgical masks the hospital gives us at work, this makes my face get irritated and break out. Not a problem though since I wear an N95 or KN95 underneath it anyway- just beware if the blue ones irritate your face these will too. ... show more
