Other reviews say different things, so take this one with a grain of salt, too. Pardon not having one out of the packaging, I had just finished a shot, and for the shakiness in my hands. They came in nicely packaged, both shipping and individual. I had a leftover unused 3mL syringe without a needle next to it for comparison. Roughly the same length, one is the traditional plunger and this product has the no-waste design— this product is 1mL so it's considerably skinnier. These kinds of syringes are good for minimal waste of medication, the plunger pushes all the way to the tip of the syringe— just around where the needle locks into the syringe. The only issue I had: air pockets. The amount of air drawn in is noticeably more than with the traditional ones I've used in the past. Getting the air bubbles out is a little trickier because of the design, but with a bit of work you should be able to get the tiniest bubble (which isn't the worst thing that could happen) if not all the air out. I've done about four injections with this product so far and here's my take on the batch that was dispensed: I'm 5'1 and barely 100lbs so one inch needles suffice. Self injection is a bit painful if you don't do the recommended quick jab, but having another person inject while you pull back on your skin really helps. It was basically painless. The wider luer lock head helps not slipping down and touching the needle with your hand. Quality of the needles are as if they were dispensed from a regular pharmacy. I'm very satisfied with that. These are great for puppy vaccines. They twist off when your done and you throw away the needle. Very fast and easy. The quality was a good but not excellent and the reason I say that is because it was made not very strong. It was a little wobbly at times. They were fine for puppies but there was sometimes I wasn't sure if it was going to brake and it wobbled more unlike the durable allergy shots for example. So just be aware of that if you are looking for a very sturdy needle this is not the right one. They were fine for the puppies no issues yet. ... show more
