The description says the syringes are for industrial use. Which is fine. However they are sealed in bags labeled “STERILE”. And “non pyrogenic”. What’s wrong with them being labeled sterile, you may ask? Well, they aren’t sterile, so don’t label them as sterile. They most definitely aren’t free of endotoxins either (non pyrogenic). I could tell before even opening it that there was some sort of liquid in the syringes. I opened one and removed the plunger and it looked wet. I rubbed it with my finger and there was some sort of grease on it. I didn’t even open the second one yet as I can already tell that one is greasy too. It’s only on the inside of the syringe. Now for the purpose I’m using it for, it’s fine and I just had to wash it with soap and water. But if you need this to be a “clean” product (which the description says), it’s not. It’s also a no-no for me as I have a background in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality assurance, for these to be labeled as a sterile product when it’s not. I’ve opened thousands of sterile syringes over the last decade in my field and I’ve never found a dirty syringe like that. My problem is that if this product gets passed on to someone else who didn’t purchase the product themselves on here, and they use it (based of the label) for something that would need to be sterile, that’s horrible. If these are industrial and not meant to be sterile, then don’t package them that way. I can’t wrap my head around why they are sold like this. I really didn’t like that they were greasy inside either. Almost as if they were either used, or lubed on purpose for an easier glide. Either way, I knocked off 2 stars for that.
