This costume is awesome, my kid looks like a real transformer, but its construction is poor. The costume came with a hole in a glove and one in the suit. also the face mask is attached to the fabric mask with a 3M pad which immediately fell off. We didn't want to return the costume because our kiddo was so excited, so I fixed it, but for the price $$$ it was a hassle. If you are only going to use this costume for a day or 2 go for it, if you think your kid is going to play in a lot be ready to repair it frequently. ... show more

Our grandsons (3 & 5) are taken with superheroes and transformers. We got both Optimus Prime and Bumblebee as one of their Christmas presents. Not kidding - when they opened the packages they were jumping up and down until we could get them out of the bags so they could put them on. Once on, they looked like little robots. My son loved it. Looked great in pictures. Seems to have some more dimension than some of the other Optimus costumes. Ordered a M (7-8) for my six year old currently wearing a size 6 in pants and size 7 in some shirts. I felt it fit true to size. Was a touch big for my son, but not overly big. This is an awesome optimus costume!! Bought it for my almost 4 year old (size small 4-6). He’s 3 1/2 ft tall and weighs 42 lbs and has room to grow in the costume. The suit is very comfortable (stretchy soft body suit) and the “bulky parts” on the costume are very thick and secure. This costume should last long after Halloween. My son loves it. Make sure to buy this a size up. My son loved the costume but it pulled on his neck when he sat down because there is no stretch. We ended up doing a little cut-and-sew to make a slit by his neck. He was happy with it but might not work for everyone.

Bought it for my son's 4th B-day! Great costume, nice quality though still have a feeling that for kid's costume it's too pricey. For this price they should include shield and a sword to complete a pack.Gonna use it for Halloween, but have to buy shield and sword as my son asked))
