I did not expect for this costume to be as dope as it was. I was amazed by how amazing and how much details it has. My son was very happy and everyone who saw my son try it on said it looks like a costume that is over 100 dollars. My son is about 3,7 height around 37 pounds to 40 pounds ,he’s 4 years old and the xs 3t to 4t fit perfect. Runs a bit big if you look at the measurements you should be accurate on size. Definitely one of the coolest and most detailed costumes we’ve ever purchased. Price is super reasonable and I feel like I’ve spent the same price for lower quality costumes. Size M (8-10) for my 7 yo which is his size and it fits perfect. We can even fit a decent jacket underneath too. Shield and sward was sold separate but when kiddos have their trick or treat bags in hand, they don’t need the extras anyway! ... show more

My son adores this Optimus Prime costume. It doesn't come with the sword and shield. Those must be purchased separately. The costume itself is one of the best quality costumes my son has, and he has a lot. It has a zipper in the back. The mask is attached to a pullover headpiece which has a Velcro opening in the back and under the chin. My son said it's comfortable. With the face open under the plastic mask, breathing isn't an issue and because it's attached to the headpiece, it stays in place. When my son makes his videos, like the one I've uploaded, the mask doesn't fall off or out of place. That's a huge bonus. Yes, I recommend this costume. I also recommend buying the sword and shield. There might be an option to buy all three together, I don't know but even without the sword and shield, the costume itself is awesome. As for value...bam! What an amazing costume and worth the money. If my son was only going to use it for Halloween, I might look for something cheaper, but he uses costumes year-round. Who am I kidding, this costume rocks and I would probably buy it just for Halloween. Functionality is on point! As I said, the way the mask is attached, to the headpiece, which is a separate piece from the body, everything has stayed in place. Highlights...(1) the material and design of the costume is among the best if not the best, (2) the mask is attached to a pullover headpiece which can be opened in the back or under the chin, via Velcro, (3) the legs cover the shoes with the bottom open so there's not strap to cause tripping. Make sure to buy this a size up. My son loved the costume but it pulled on his neck when he sat down because there is no stretch. We ended up doing a little cut-and-sew to make a slit by his neck. He was happy with it but might not work for everyone.
