We bought this even tho a lot of people said they got theirs broken. We were lucky and ours wasn’t. But it is a very cheap plastic and definitely not meant for play. But with that being said we bought it for my sons friend who is just going to hang it up. So even tho it’s not good for play I am very happy with the product it’s self in terms of look. Great price, sturdier than I thought it would be and the arm straps n padding inside are a nice touch.. matches perfectly to the standard sword that's sold everywhere lol. This shield is a costume prop, not a toy. If abused, the shield will certainly tear / crack. BUT, as a costume prop, the shiled is sturdy enough. I bought this on sale as part of the link costume. It looks just like the game and my son loves it. Not flimsy plastic, but wouldn't want to hit it with the plastic sword we bought. Totally fine and cool for what it is. Kid costume or light cosplay.

    • Very thin plastic
My son loves this shield, so I’m happy with it. The plastic is very thin, though, so it isn’t very durable with normal play.

A very nice shield but it was a little small for my preteen but my youngest (4) perfect fit though. Bought the sword too very cool stuff Gannon dosen't stand a chance.
