Thick not breathing, non natural material. But it is sturdy and stay fixed, does not move at all. Yet although I am less than 20 weeks pregnant and within the size guide range, it is too tight for me. I feel better when I take it of. But it is an essential item during pregnancy

If you want this as a compression band to help with support it's not that. Very loose, stretchy. Works great as a undershirt layer to help cover belly but not compression or support. I recomend sizing down.

They serve their purpose. I prefer maternity pants overall for comfort and confidence, but these are good belly bands if you need them for a beloved pair of pants. I'm probably between a small and medium at 30 weeks. The elastic strip inside is the selling point. It keeps the band from sliding off your pants.

Love the night. Love the non rolling feature. I'm on baby number 5 do I've tried a ton of these. This one beats them all! I like it to actually hold me in so I would definitely size down otherwise it's like wearing a regular tank top.
