I was concerned about the quality (because of the price). However, this pair is super nice. My son wears a size 8.5-9 in toddler shoes and the smallest setting on the skates fits perfectly. And since they expand 4 more sizes- they'll last him quite a while. The wheels are rubberized, not plastic so no crazy sliding and they light up when they roll. Ankle support is great. I love the sturdiness, how easy it is to put on and tie/lock in place. My 2yrs feels confident and loves learning how to skate with us. The only peoblem is trying to convince him to take them off. Trouble twos is a thing. Lol

These skates are fantastic for my 4 year old grandson! They are made to be sturdy for a rough-and-tumble boy, but lightweight and easy for him to put on himself. The flashing lights on the wheels were a nice bonus - I didn’t see that at all. He started by practicing on the room size living room rug, then graduated to the mudroom vinyl linoleum. Now he skates on the hardwood floors with Mimi nearby in case he takes a spill. Be sure to have child wear elbow, knee & wrist pads, and a helmet! They can really fly with these skates. ... show more
