Meter arrived packed well. Photo of meter did not represent what was in the box, which led me to believe that they shipped an incorrect meter. Checked a manual on line and confirmed they use one box to package multiple products. The meter leads provided are a bit short, but that is not a game changer. The meter uses a 9 volt battery (not provided) to power it. A standard Duracell 9 volt battery is loose in the holder but was easily remedied by a small piece of double sided foam tape. The manual provided could have been better. There is a more descriptive manual on the internet that I downloaded. Other than that, the meter seems to work well. ... show more

    • easy capacitor measurement
When tested on adjustable capacitance standards, very accurate until down to 100pf. at 100 pf the error was about 2pf. but it is hard to get accurate measurements at very low capacitance. you must zero the instrument before measuring small capacitance.

Seems rather accurate, and measures rather large caps to rather small ones. You will have to pay a lot to measure caps as big as this one does, so it's a great deal if that's what you need. Mine has been totally reliable for a month so far...
