Features

  • This MESR-100 V2 auto-ranging capacitor ESR and low Ohm meter measuring range is 0.001-100.0R, support in circuit testing.
  • Capacitor tester is the series resistance inside the capacitor, and 100kHz is used to remove the impedance 1/(2*pi*F*C). When the impedance becomes smaller, the real series resistance value can be measured to determine whether the capacitor is bad/damaged or in good condition.
  • Our ESR meter only applies less than 15mV DC or peak to peak on a good capacitor, as a result we can use it as in circuit test.
  • During repairing TV, LCD, Audio board, etc. we can in circuit testing the capacitor is good or not.Note:The Capacitance Meter is used for testing the internal resistance of the capacitor, not for testing capacitance value.
  • Dual terminal, for fast and easy inspect general capacitor or resistor, a printed ESR table for fast check.Equipped with a SMD alligator clip for more accurately testing.

Most electronic gear, including computers, televisions, stereos and other items end up failing as they get older.     • Make sure your leads are set to how you're going to use it, and, each time and zero it
A must have tool in the workshop for anyone interested in knowing the values of capacitors. without taking them off the board, have seen others with very mixed results but this one is on the money every time well worth buying. You will see what I mean in the headline when you buy it the leads are just plugs after all and suffer from weak connection and this can be seen to great effect when you are zeroing the device but as long as you do not move the cables about after zeroing then the reading is spot-on, my advice buy it and be glad that you did. ... show more

Nice to have a device that can determine resistance in a capacitor without taking out of the circuit. Works , but you will also need one that also reads actual capacitance. You really beed both. This is a solidly built device. A good buy.

This unit is reliable: if it says good, it is.....I found a bad cap in a circuit, and several that were OK. You can save time, trouble and money with this unit. I also found low-value (under ten ohms) resistors that were out of spec., and learned that it can test the health of all sorts of rechargeable batteries. ... show more
