  • Good product / poor instructions
The instructions say it takes 30 days to completely dry. Dicor says wait two weeks after applying before you paint your roof. That doesn't add up, but that is what I did. I like Dicor products, but their instructions are confusing with many details left out. If I ever paint my roof again, I will paint it first. Give it a few weeks of summer to completely dry and then apply this lap sealant where needed. That makes much more sense then Dicor's instructions. Then the sealant will be on top, where it is supposed to be. ... show more

  • 501LSW compared to 502LSW lap seal
Ok, surprise I order 501LSW and get 502LSW. The 501 Is definetly thicker. The 502 Is thinner but the 502 Is much much better to apply than 501. I will only use 502LSW from now on. Great stuff. And yes, I made sure both were at room temperature or a little warmer before using. I also believe I covered more area with the 502. Less wasted extra globs since It Is a little thinner. The only difference between the 2 are thickness, that's It. Just get the 502LSW ... show more

  • For The Tops of Things and Stuff
Works as it should and seems to be the gold standard for self leveling lap sealant. Just make sure to remove. clean, and prep before using. I only wish it was a bit cheaper or there was a little bit more per tube. Its worth buying the 4 pack so you can have a couple extra on hand just in case a leak pops up ! ... show more

  • Worked well.
Carry on with me on RV trips. Needed on trip to Arkansas. Had lots of rain. Noticed roof leak and easily fixed it. 2 seasons so far and all sealed areas holding ok.

  • works
I have a 1991RV that needed some patchwork on the roof and around the windows and this product has made the RV virtually moisture-free. No more leaks anywhere!

  • SIMPLY THE BEST
The only Cauk/ sealant I will ever use on an RV!! Self leveling is for flat vertical surfaces as it is more "FLUID" and will flow into the tiny cracks. Wear gloves or you will need a solvent to remove it from your skin. PS> Please never, ever use Silicon!!! As it is worthless and will cause more problems than it is worth. I have rehabbed over 15 campers / RVs and this is what you want. ... show more

  • This is way better than silicone or other hardware store caulking products!
I've used this on my Motorhome and trailer seams. It appears to last without cracking or separating for 2-3 years. The products kind of settles and slumps but it's not runny. I bought the 4-pack to save some money. It has really been a great product.

  • Good product.
Sealed my leaking van roof that the dealership couldn't do without having for 3 days. Screw them. 2 year old Promaster van. (Garbage) Just 1 of 20 things wrong with this POS. That's another post for another site.
