Just when I thought that a man's zipper couldn't get any shorter-guess what. I needed a new pair of cargo pants for a trip and the fit was great. But at bathroom time with others standing in lie waiting, I have to go through contortions to get the job started. My pant size of 30x30 has a 3.5 inch zipper. My older pants have 6 inch zippers but I have noticed over the years that the length has been lessening. Maybe most of the other reviewers sit down for this restroom chore so it doesn't matter to them. If there are cargo pants out there that have maintained an adequate zipper length let the rest of us know. Overall fit and quality is fine.

My favorite pair of pants. I had a pair of the wal-mart knock off's for the longest time because I needed something quick and fast so I bought them while shopping one day, and they are still being worn... at least, until I decided to purchase the real thing. The only complaint I have about these is the cheap velcro on the pockets. How do you give us a button fly, and cheap velcro on the pockets. It's not even strong or well stitched. I suspect this being a problem after a while. Also, my s8 does not fit in the cell phone pocket, which is okay, because I will never put my phone in that sort of pocket anyways. But in case you do, it may not fit. It is plenty wide, perfect in fact. But not long enough. If they raised the pocket up a bit and out of the cargo pocket area, it would be cool. Also one on the left would make sense, instead of just one on the right. They should also have a small button for those pockets too. Those two things aside, I still think they are worth 4 stars. I love the feel and simplicity, as well as the fit. I could wear these every day. I do wish they had more colors and those things I listed, but I still recommend them. They are not hard starched like regular dickies in case you are wondering. Very soft and lightweight.

These turned out to be better than I expected. At 6'3" tall and 195 lbs, I usually wear a 35 or 36 waist and 34 length. These, at 36x34, fit well, just a little big in the waist as expected. Otherwise perfect for uniform pants, which is why I bought them. Good dark navy color, deep pockets, 7 nice heavy-duty belt loops so your belt stays put, and what appears to be quality construction throughout. Material is a nice weight, not too heavy but not flimsy, and has just a bit of stretch to it. Comfortable to wear all day. Not sure how they will hold up over time as I've only worn them once, but no reason to doubt the durability thus far. They washed well, didn't seem to shrink or fade, and didn't wrinkle. A minor quibble is the zipper, which is unusually short at about 5". Not sure why a more standard 6 to 7" zipper isn't used as it would be more convenient for tucking in shirts (and the other standard men's zipper uses...) but I can live with it in exchange for the otherwise good features.

Second pair I've purchased in a week because these are excellent quality garments. Both purchases are 34X30 but this pair seems to fit tighter than the first. Different Seamstress? Different gut size? I'll take a chance on the latter, try to wear them prior to eating. One negative is that the buttons are sewn on soooo tight and the buttonholes soooo small be sure to trim your fingernails prior to buttoning. These Dickies brand cargo pants are soooo well made and I recommend them to anyone who wants a quality garment, for work or casual wear. Updated: I'm returning this pair and ordering the next size up. Just too tight to ever be comfortable. Perhaps mislabled.

Way too small for a size 44. I've tried multiple pairs of pants recently all size 42 through 44 and this has to have been a mislabeled size 38, MAYBE 40. I dont know if Dickies runs very small but these were in no way a size 44. Other than the size, the pants looked to be very nice. I did have a problem unbuttoning them as the button fit extremely tight in the button hole. I just purchased a pair of TRU-SPEC pants in size 44 locally and they are a little roomier than other 44s I've tried but still definitely a 44. I'm not affiliated with any brand or company. I'm simply a consumer looking for well fitting pants for my job.

Had recently bought the same pants for the flex features at target and really liked them. Bought the same pants here, and even made sure they were the flex, but they are not the same pants. Snug around the waist and they are the exact same size as the ones I had just bought. Even has the same labels, so maybe it was mislabeled? First picture is the ones I just ordered. Second are the ones I was trying to buy.

Love Dickies. I was a bit surprise when I received these and notice two difference from my regular Dickies. 1. The Zipper is very short. I have to undo my pants when I need to go to the restroom. Which leads to the second. 2. The pants have a button and not a metal claps. I know these are trivial things, but I'm used to Dickies being a certain way. I'll just stick with the Regular ones

When you carry concealed, how you dress is affected. With a holster in the 4-4:30 position, my cellphone had to move from my usual belt carry and my wallet needed to move from my hip pocket to prevent exposing my gun when I lift the shirt to pull out my wallet. These slacks solved both problems at once by giving me a slit pocket on my right leg for the phone and moving my wallet to the left cargo pocket. The belt loops are just right for a sturdy 1.5-inch leather gun belt. The slacks run true to size, yet the stretch waist band easily accommodates an IWB Kydex holster (with claw) and an IWB Kydex mag holster. The fabric and finish is nice enough to wear with a blazer for church and other less casual events. They wash nicely and are an excellent value for the price. If you are looking for the extra pockets of tactical gear without looking like you are part of a SWAT unit, these are for you!
