I’m really happy with the 80mm Aperture 600mm Refracting Telescope. As a beginner, I found it super easy to set up and use. The optics are clear, and it's perfect for viewing the moon and objects which is far away. If you are beginner photographer and you just have good camera phone it’s the best. It comes with useful accessories like a tripod, phone adapter, and carrying bag which I like the most the way it came which make it portable and convenient. The phone adapter is great for capturing photos, and the whole package feels like excellent value for the price. The functionality of this telescope is awesome and yes it’s maybe good funs for kids. If you're just starting out with astronomy, this telescope is a fantastic option—highly recommended!

I've been anxious to start getting back into astronomy since I'm retired and live kind of out in the country. I used to have a very nice telescope when I was younger and I just wanted to kind of start out slow. I purchased this one expecting to use it for a little while and then give it to my friend's grandson. I got it I was really surprised. It is by no means a child's toy. I wasn't expecting a whole lot at this price and I got way more than I expected! It's very well made and the optics seem to be fantastic. Easy to put together and of course they do give you instructions. Comes with everything you need. When you open the box you see a nice case to carry it in and upon opening that everything is wrapped and well packaged to survive transit. Immediately I noticed the heft of the scope itself when I took it out of the case. The mounting points are well machined and everything fit together very nicely. It has a round carousel that attaches to the tripod so you can set your optics in there and swap them out at a moment's notice. The tripod itself was way above and beyond what I ever thought it would be. Much more sturdy than I had imagined. The phone mount for photographing is pretty good. As with all the phone mounts they are very sensitive to being touched while you're trying to make photos but here's the best part. I Bluetooth my Samsung to my laptop so that I can see what I'm looking at through the telescope! Then I simply click on my laptop when I want to take the photo. That is an awesome feature when you're trying to take pictures because you don't have to worry about disturbing your shot. Telescope is loaded with things that take it way out of a child's toy and put it into the category of a really good quality entry level and above telescope. I can easily see me using this thing for a long time to come. I've had years of experience with other telescopes and this one rates right up there and quality with many of the others. It's actually much better than some that I've looked at costing almost twice as much. Telescope is definitely a keeper. Unfortunately due to the overcast skies and the clouds moving in and out very rapidly I haven't been able to get a decent photo. The scope is quite capable but before I can snap the photo clouds start moving back in. It's frustrating but that's my problem and not a problem with the telescope. I will add some photos once I get clear skies. If you're looking for a great little telescope at a great price that you will not be returning I suggest you look at this one up close and personal! Buy it and try it! You will not be disappointed.

I recently purchased this sleek white telescope and it has been an absolute joy to use. Right out of the box, the setup was straightforward, which was perfect for a beginner like me. The tripod provides a stable base, even near the balcony as shown in my setup. It’s light enough to move around easily but solid enough to withstand a breeze. The optics are clear and the focusing mechanism is smooth, allowing me to gaze at the stars and moon with surprising detail. It’s also quite the conversation starter, nestled aesthetically among my plants and home decor. The design is modern and doesn’t take up too much space, blending nicely with my interior. One thing to note, the telescope, while robust, could use a better locking mechanism for the angle adjustment. It sometimes slips if not tightened properly. However, once secured, it stays in place. Overall, this telescope has been a great addition to my home. It provides a fantastic viewing experience and serves as an elegant piece of functional decor. Whether you’re a novice star-gazer or just looking for a stylish new hobby, this telescope comes highly recommended.

This telescope is so awesome. I would recommend it to anyone. It comes with everything you need Including a bag to carry it in. It's very easy to put together. It's perfect for adults and kids. The viewing position is too small. You have to close one eye to focus your eye to find the pitiful small viewing lens, and you find that it is still very blurry.

It's fairly easy to use but way too wobbly & frustrating to get pics that are in focus. Does not stay in position. I find that I have to position it below whatever it is I'm trying to take a pic of bc when I let go of it, the back of the scope drops, maybe from the weight of the phone?
