Great piece. I ordered the large and its nice size. Not big but big enough. It folds flat and when opened sturdy and secure. To be honest, its pretty much exactly as pictured so no suprises at all. Im very happy with this and its far more beautiful than what I used before. The "ONLY" downside was last night during my meditation I could not concentrate well because I was admiring it and thinking how nice! Lol. Took me a minute to stop looking and get back to business at hand. Lol. Oh...I ordered a meditation bench to go with this but for me...because I'm 6'5...it seemed too tall for the alter so im returning bench and will just continue with my yoga matt on floor. I'm going to look at other items this seller offers because it really was purchase im happy about. Thx so much. Namaste!

I received my altar yesterday and noticed when I got it that the tape closing the package was different on one of the sides. I believe this was returned prior to reaching me, once I opened it I saw it was a bit wobbly and one leg doesn’t hold steady like the other, however I decided to keep it because it’s just so beautiful and the intricate details are just absolutely gorgeous. It will do for the intended purpose. You won’t regret it. The small defect I don’t mind because after all it’s handmade…won’t be absolutely perfect.

I ordered one of these tables a year ago and really liked it and needed to order another. I was going to put both of them together to create one large table. However, the newer version of this table is a bit bigger and wider than the older version. Also the older version is a gloss finish and is a bit lighter in shade. So I decided to buy a third so that I could put two together and use them as one. I contacted the seller and they made sure to send one out that would match the one I just received. It matches perfectly and so now I have three of these tables. They really are beautiful and well put together and Dharma Objects does a great job of packing and shipping.

Guess after reading reviews, I'm the only one unable to get this piece put together! I know the theory, but try as I may, can't do it! So simple in principle, lol. So haven't used it since Oct 5th delivery date. I kinda gave up. I'll give it another try, because it is so beautiful.... I am so frustrated with trying to assemble this product, I don't want to, but I have to return it. $229 is a lot of money for a puzzle I can't seem to get. Do you hammer the side pieces into place? Cause I can't get them in buy hand. I love this design, but guess not made for me.
