Having one long mat to cover more of the floor where I spend the most time in the kitchen is very nice to have, and the extra mat for in front of the stove is perfect. These are easy to clean and the color is nice. They are soft, though not as thick as some others I've purchased from Sam's or Hobby Lobby. The outer coating is a little thin - my big dog's nails have put at least two holes in them when he went from sitting on them to chasing the cat (0 to 60). They are, however, not easy to spot.

I typically spend a few hours in the kitchen preparing, serving and then cleaning up from dinner. I have tile throughout my house so the floor is very unforgiving and hard as concrete. I usually have to put on a pair of sneakers about 30 mins into my kitchen time. Enter these mats. They arrived rolled up (one inside the other), but after about 20 mins they were lying completely flat on my kitchen floor. They seem to "grip" the floor really well so there is no sliding, even when my dog comes flying through. They look sleek and nice on the floor. Best of all - after over 90 mins on my feet in the kitchen, I didn't need my sneakers. These things really do the trick. They are soft but firm - not thick and squishy which I think would make me prone to trip or turn my ankle. Super happy with these mats.

These rugs just make more sense than a carpet rug, especially in the kitchen. This set of waterproof, cushy mats is just sublime! My feet which are used to hard tile all day, have fallen in love with these. The cushion is just right- not too much- just right. The design is a woven pattern- very classic. I chose black to match things, but for the adventurous, you could choose a brighter color and make the kitchen pop. If I needed to purchase again, I would go with the fun turquoise. They are just long enough to go down one side of my island and the smaller one fits the sink area well! If your feet hurt in the kitchen or even the laundry room- I say try these. I really love mine. If and when I spill on them, things wipe right up!

These are just okay. They are very narrow so it’s hard to get it lined up perfectly that your feet will fit on them when you’re doing stuff in the kitchen. Also they slip around which I find really annoying.

The DEXI Kitchen Mat ($39.99), made in China by shanto ushida jiang dianzi shang wuyou xian gongsi and sold in the U.S. by DEXI Direct, is a 2-piece set of cushioned mats, one measuring 17”x29”, the other 17”x59”. The top surface of both mats is textured to counter slippage. The underside is memory foam padding. The mats come in beige, brown, black, navy, gray, and turquoise. I checked with the main cook in the house and learned we have kitchen mats, actually rugs. Who knew? I guess I should cook more often. I do have a woodshop in the garage, where I spend about the same amount of time the main cook spends cooking. The floor is concrete slab (post-tensioned, if you’re curious). I have a pair of shop Skechers to ease the stress the concrete puts on my feet. I also have a couple, very thin floor mats I keep positioned in the heart of the work area that provide a minimal layer of almost-padding. You can see where this is headed, so let’s go there straightaway. The DEXIs occupy the most-trafficked patches of concrete with the thin mats covering (I suspect the DEXIs to be a smidgen less durable than the existing mats, which have been serving for slightly more than two years with little visible wear and tear) both the DEXIs and the fringe areas of the shop floor. The difference in foot comfort was marked. I’ll spare you the little pillows cliché, instead just say it’s the softest work floor I’ve ever enjoyed. The overlaying pads keep the harshest shop debris off the DEXIs while maintaining the DEXIs positioned ideally in the L shape. We’ll see how the DEXIs hold up over time. For now, though, they’re yet another successful re-purpose.

These feel so good under my feet! Plush but firm so you feel like you’ve got a good footing . I’ve had some in the past that were very plus (and too thick) but also not firm enough. They seem to create more issues than otherwise being too squishy. I like that these are on the thinner side so you get the comfort without sacrificing the support. I opened the packaging (they come rolled up) and laid them out. The smaller of the two was in the center of the roll and the edge was a little curled still but after sitting out for a few hours I checked back and it was flat. The underside grips the tile floor really well and doesn’t move unless you want it to. I can’t speak to wood or laminate since I don’t have any in my house but I’d assume linoleum will most likely act in the same way as tile. Overall very happy with the material, thickness, comfort, support, and look. I hope this helps you!

These are nice and squishy, but not so thick you trip over them (as I often to do at someone's house that has the super thick ones). I do wish they were a little wider (not longer) so it can be pushed under my cabinets and still stick out a decent amount. Make sure you measure for how big you need, I was a little off on my guestimate and it was little longer than my spot by my stove by fit my sink so it worked out. It is nice it comes with two mats.
