I love this thing. It’s great. Powerful enough. Easily loosen bolts by hand then use it to fully take em off if need be. Sturdy and built well. Battery fits really snug and it’s a lot lighter than I expected it to be. I expect this thing to last a life time. I looked at this item for weeks at several stores and Amazon. This item came up used at Amazon for a good price so I promptly ordered it. I use it in a machine shop and it works great for bolting projects down. I had a Black and Decker battery ratchet 30 years ago and loved it until the batteries died Buyers need to realize it’s not an impact wrench, not likely to loosen lug nuts on car tires. I recently picked up the DEWALT 12V XTREME 3/8″ Ratchet (ASIN B09ZK4Z7FJ) and have been blown away by the performance.     • I’m impressed…, it does have a flat spot in the trigger.
Initial impressions…, I like it…! It’s a little bulky to get into tighter spaces. Remembering to use extensions a little more often may help. It’s certainly handy to have when removing transmission pans with one hand on the pan while the tool quickly removes the last few fasteners…! I will admit that I noticed a “flat spot” regarding the a variable trigger. (I read that in reviews and hoped it was user error, it not, it’s real !) I just hope it doesn’t get worse with time… I define a “flat spot”when the tool seems to quit for a moment…, then promptly resumes. It’s a trend (according to reviewers)…?!?! Frankly I don’t put too much faith in reviews…, I definitely toss out the “it doesn’t work at all” reviews…, LOL ... show more
