I grew up in a world with metal toolboxes, so I'm always sceptical about plastic ones. I decided that my back could use a break from carrying all of my metal toolboxes around. After buying some of these DeWalt TStak System boxes, and using them regularly, they've held up to a lot of punishment. They're very well built. The drawers slide in and out with ease, and latch to stay closed. I especially like that I can change out one box, so I'm not lugging around tools that I don't need for a specific job. I can keep specific tools in specific boxes, and change the stack of boxes to fit my needs. The Tstak System makes for a great toolbox. Even if you're trying to find storage solutions for other things, like craft supplies, these DeWalt Tstak System boxes can still help you stay organized. I especially like the drawered boxes for my craft supplies. I have a 4.5 foot tall mix of the deep single drawer, and the double drawer boxes. They sit on the attachable DeWalt Tstak Dolly, so I can easily move the stack from a closet to my craft table/bench, and back again when I'm finished. I even decided to put a DeWalt Tstak System Deep Long Handle box on top of this stack, where I put my airbrush compressor, airbrushes, hoses, and other airbrush supplies. While the size of the stack is large, it's easy to move around. The material thickness of each box makes the entire stack solid. I like these boxes so much that I decided to buy some of the other types of DeWalt TStak System boxes. They make several different types, and they're all great. I've only had one box fail, which was a drawer that didn't want to close correctly. I sent an email to DeWalt, asking if there was a something that I could do to fix the drawer. They asked me to send them some pictures of the issue with a copy of my receipt, which I did, and they offered me some helpful tips. To my surprise, they also sent me a replacement box. I manufacture and install robotic power panels. My cart holds a lot of tools but is an unorganized mess. This series of tool boxes are exactly what I need. They are not the larger expensive set but they are great for my application. The size is great and seem rather sturdy.

As with everything DeWalt makes, this is well made. Drawer opens and closes smoothly and unit snaps on to the other DeWalt items in this line. Only exception are the small bins included. They are hard to open and get in the way when operating the drawer. They were not essential to my purchase so won’t be a problem for me. ... show more

I have been eyeing these for a while for my packout set, smaller, waterproof, durable and strong and very easy to customize. I am working on the rest of the set, but the drawer has already been great, full of dividers which are great for fasteners and smaller tool accessories. A bit of shadow foam two layers deep holds my 1/4" and my 3/8" set of sockets+ a few extra wrenches. I have a two drawer set on the way and the long handle deep box also. Along with the deep toolbox, and a Craftsman Versastack set I just grabbed at my local Napa for $100, I think I can move all my tools I need to work on vehicles in one set and carpentry in the other to help friends and family fix their stuff. I'm loving these interchangeable tool boxes as they are flexible, versatile, tough, weatherproof and cheap. I guess I bought into these late but very impressed and satisfied with the looks, quality and flexibility in how I can mix them up and customize the packing of tools in each box. ... show more

Its great for what I need it for and to add to my other storage toolbox and dewalt tool drawers that I already had.. I didn't care for the storage compartments it came with. I don't think the lid for them is practical. The lids are hard to close and almost flimsy. I gave them to my little boy to play with them and store his pokemon cards and small toys. I like that the drawer because its deep and I'm able to store other tools that I couldn't fit in my full tool box. I recommend it. ... show more
