I currently use this for the purpose of working on metal doors and installing hardware. I really bought this set just for the case and was nicely surprised by how much it can hold without sliding down. I was able to load up all of the hardware parts, screws, latch/strike plates, and door handle. I could even rest my #3 screwdriver, and allen key index on top! Some people have even stopped me while the case was fully loaded to laugh and be amazed! This case makes my job easier and I can finish faster that alone makes it worth every $, but it also keeps my cordless drill accessories from being lost, and is well built/latches tight. My only knock would be that the magnets are so strong they tend to pick up screws, filings, and metal bits (INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE CASE). Be that inside your tool bag, because you knocked it over on the ground/jobsite, or it's in the "blast radius" when doing any grinding/cutting of ferrous metal. So that is worth a mention, but the overall usefulness of this case far outweighs this issue. Pro Tip: If attaching to finished surfaces, put blue tape over the magnets, and they won't scuff when pulled off. You will have to check every so often to make sure no sharp metal bits are on the magnet, but with the blue tape its easy to spot and wipe away with a rag. This also helps to keep metal filings from getting sucked into the tiny spaces around the magnets. Hope my review helps thanks for reading. ... show more

Having a magnetic bit holder and storage is amazing. Probably one of the best ideas ever. Especially when working on a panel or lift. String Magnets and good size case to fit plenty of bits of all shapes and sizes. Seems very well made as well ha ent had any issues so far.

I like it because it holds a lot but it’s small enough to fit in your bag or pouch. The clear bonus are the magnets. Great when you’re up in the air but have metal close. Tiny tray and bits are available. The one negative thing is the bits are loose. I would buy it again.

Nice box, very good quality, just too small, needs to be twice the size. Price was okay, shipping was slow, too big for your pocket, but not big enough for a nice selection of bits. I like Dewalt products, but this was false advertising to me, in the pictures it looks much bigger! Although they printed the size on the ad, they pictures portrays it to be much bigger in my opinion. DEWALT PLEASE MAKE THIS 2 inches longer and 1 inch wider, the height is good. ... show more

I'm on a bit of a tool buying spree in recent months, including bits and blades as there seem to be deals EVERY WHERE. I stumbled onto this set while shopping around and am glad I bought this. The case has been perfect while I'm remodeling and I love that there are two options - magnets, and hooks - to hang this nearby. This has been great for keeping different bits, extensions, and screws handy so I'm not trying to store things in my pockets and getting poked constantly. This is probably worth it at full price, but I notice it's either still on sale or back on sale for $12.96 - if you don't have this, buy it. The case alone is super handy. ... show more

Durable dewalt quality. Clever idea. Inexpensive. Value. The magnets are powerful and magnetize the bits that are stored inside which helps keep control of screws when screwing something in. I haven’t had too many times yet where I’ve used the case while working (based on the intended use) but the magnets are handy for storing the case for availability as I just attach it to the most accessible metal spot in the garage and grab it when needed. ... show more

This case is so awesome I bought another,. I may buy a third someday. The magnets are great for whenever you want the case to stick somewhere or to keep tabs of screws that you are using. It has a nice metal clasp instead of a crappy plastic slider (I hate those things) and the case seems to be made of much sturdier plastic than other cases I have (such as the one I have from Milwaukee). Its only gripe point is bits to seem to stick to the magnets inside the case. Sometimes this forces you to move them off of the lid so you can close the case. The bits are standard fare - I really wish I could only buy the case.... ... show more
