  • Awesome device!
Style: 60V Stud/Joist Drill Kit
My husband uses it to power an 8” auger for planting shrubs and trees. He says he wonders how he ever got along without this device. The electronic clutch included with this is a must have safety device.

  • You just can’t beat DeWalt
Style: 60V Stud/Joist Drill Kit
This drill is so powerful. I had bought on me of the Valet Jacks to go on my trailer. You can use a drill to lower & raise it instead of hand cranking it. Well my drills were just not powerful enough. I had almost lost hope until I saw this drill be DeWalt. It lifter my trailer with ease. You get what you pay for. Quality ... show more

  • Must have power and portability
Style: 60V Stud/Joist Drill Kit
This thing is amazing, fits in tight spots well. The emergency lock up clutch is perfect. The permanent handle is well placed the removable hand is very sturdy. Don't be fooled by a couple of the other poor reviews. This permanently replaces my corded same style Milwaukee hole hawg. If this is your only 60v tool you will need more than 1 battery. I put about 10 holes through 100 yr old oak with a kinda dull 3 5/8" self feed bit on 1 full charged battery. Tons of power though drilled 3 holes with 1" 16" long self feed bit through a new header and 2 100 year old top plates with surprising ease and speed. If u do electric or plumbing you need this tool. I have used the m18 cordless small hole hawg from Milwaukee it was great for electric like 1" bit and single studs. But doesn't hold a cand to this. It has some beef to it. I would not want to go hiking with it. ... show more

  • Best battery operated stud drill on the market
Style: 60V Stud/Joist Drill
Listen im no fan boy i do own plenty of DeWalt tools but the company tools are all Milwaukee including a couple 18v holehogs and there is no comparison between them if want a drill that has the power to do anything you ask it to do without the extra safety features to neuter it this is the one

  • OMG!! What a drill
Style: 60V Stud/Joist Drill Kit w / (2) DCB606
I have used most brands of tools, most types of tools and read all the hype about batteries since the days of a 2.4 volt screw gun which easily cost more than this tool 3 decades ago. A little with little power and even less battery life. I have used this drill a couple of days now and of all the tools I have ever bought this is the first one with real wow factor. I had some tree stumps that were rock hard and driving be bezerk. While this would be no ones primary mission for a drill, I really wanted to test the strength and cut off feature if it gets in a bind. Well armed with a 1" x 17" ship auger bit. Right out of the box the side handle. It is much meatier than I expected. So I braced for the worst on my first hole having nearly broken my wrists twice with a 20v and the a chorded drill. That old dreaded saying was the first thing that came to mind -- Like a Hot knife through butter. Wow I figured I hit a soft spot so went again - same result. 6 stumps and 60 - 70 hole later I was dumbfounded. I did go through one battery and the second was running low when I quit - I think a real testament to the difficulty of the work - based on reading some reviews running through dimensional lumber. I went ahead an ordered the saw and cannot wait. A feature that makes these even more valuable is when I learned the batteries could be used with my 20 volt max tools. I have a complete collection of 18 volt tools and have dreaded the inevitable battery change. I do have 3 20 volt tools and can only imagine how long my dcl50 will last with the 60 volt battery. Also I was surprised to see the price difference in the bare tool, one battery, two battery options. Buy the 2 battery combo is a no brainer. I also feel like i future proofed myself. I realized how old the 18 volt system is as several of my tools are over a decade old. That said I think the flexvolt system protects the tool investment. And as expensive as cooper has become, extension chords are too precious to get "nasty" or "borrowed" on a construction site. Thank you dewalt. I can't wait til the flexvolt comes to the more powerful hammer drills. ... show more

  • Yeah, it's a beast.
Style: 60V Stud/Joist Drill Kit w / (2) DCB606
Well the drill is awesome. You can see my real world use video on YouTube, to judge for yourself if this is the tool for you. Just use my name to find my channel. The kit is cheaper than the bare tool and two batteries. I already have a couple of chargers, I guess now I have a third. The bag in the kit is a little small, but it was perfect for my 20v grinder and all the wheels that go to it. The drill has plenty of power and a solid construction, hopefully it'll hold up under real world conditions. The only thing I really want to see is batteries that can be easily opened to change cells at home, but I doubt anybody will make those. If you really want to get the most of this drill, use the Milwaukee Switchblade Self-Feed bits so you will always have a sharp bit with the proper edge profile. Really great bits.
