This is a powerful little beast that fits comfortably into areas most drills can not. My husband had a similar model I bought for him some years ago that was stolen out of his truck. He has aquired a few others since then, but I went ahead and gifted him this little beastie again, and he was thrilled. The other brands just don't hold up. These 20v max tools are all pretty impressive, we haven't tried one we don't like. Not a drill, but give the reciprocating saw a try, too. Can't believe how much power that cordless "sawzall" has. We cut a small tree down with it for growing shiitakes, not exaggerating! Anyway, this review is about the impact, but the power behind these tools is interchangeable. On sale this set is a steal because the batteries are not cheap. Collect enough batteries and you can save money in the future on bare tools, too. Great little impact. Fastens, drills, does it all. Has an obnoxiously bright light for dark corners that its small size squeezes right into. My husband was fairly loyal to another brand of drill when we got together, but he's a convert now. He's a lifelong carpenter by trade, I sold tools of all brands for different home improvement and hardware stores. ... show more

I have both the impact driver and the drill. I absolutely love this impact driver. I have been using it for DIY projects around the house for months and have only charged the battery once. The kit is great but does not come with hex so I recommend you get a her bit set, too.
