Description

The DEWALT DCE580D1 20V max 300-600ml Sausage pack adhesive gun, baretool offers the user a variable speed trigger which allows for increased control over the flow of your adhesive. It also has a variable speed dial that allow for setting maximum and minimum flow rates. This gun has an anti - drip feature that automatically retracts the plunging rod once trigger is released preventing excess adhesive from Dripping out and making a mess on your project. A quick connect igniter-changeable canister trays allows user to quickly change between canister sizes. Capacity 300-600ml, speed 21 in/min. Doing capstone caulking on 5 buildings solo... HAD to buy this baby. I already have some 20v Dewalt tools so seeing this I knew it was going to accept my batteries. It’s quick, speed adjustable and runs a nice even bead. Love how it has an auto backup so it doesn’t gob up when stopping. Battery use is minimal, used it 3 days in a row on one of the high cap Dewalt batteries and still had one bar left. I did end up needing to replace the battery with a fresh one about midway through the 4th day. The one little issue I have is that it doesn’t fully use the caulk in the sausages, not a huge deal but I don’t like wasting material. It’s an easy “fix” though, I just got a ping pong ball and dropped it into the tube before the sausage. Helps squeeze that last ounce or so out. I own a full compliment of Dewalt 20V tools, so I bought this. The design is poor. It is heavy, loud, and leaks caulk/adhesive out of the front threads from a poorly fitting end cap. I exchanged it for another, same issue. I ended up buying my first Milwaukee 12V tool to replace this. The Milwaukee 12V sausage gun is cheaper, lighter, quieter, and just flat out works. And the kit to switch to a 10oz. cartridge was cheaper too. Dewalt needs to redo this one. ... show more

Had a Milwaukee for eons , have a fair amount of dewalt cordless tools , so I tried this gun since I had so many y batteries, and what a difference. It seems smoother . The test will be with longevity . But it's made in USA so I'm hoping it lives up to that !
