  • Greatly improved GMC Sonoma 2.2L RWD Pickup
I installed this differential to help my RWD truck handle Buffalo's snowy roads a bit better. I've only just installed it so I will have to update this review once we've had some snow, but already my driving experience is dramatically different. With the stock open differential, the back end of my truck would 'skip' and lose traction while pulling out into traffic or accelerating around a corner–especially uphill. Now it maintains traction throughout the turn, and you can hear the differential doing its work as one tire begins to slip, and then is caught. It makes a repetitive 'chirping' sound instead of the usual, continuous squeal of tires. The same goes for accelerating from a dead stop in a straight line. Again, I will update once I've tested it in the snow. I have very high hopes. FYI, you need a pair of clamping calipers and some snap ring pliers to install this, in addition to the usual automotive tools. ... show more

  • hooks great with drag radials and also does easy burnouts
The media could not be loaded. Took a while to install but wow what a major improvement over my stock open dif. I have a 1991 Camaro RS with a 400 small block pushing 260hp, 410lbs torque, with 3.73 gears on the Locker, and this thing takes that torque with ease, hooks great with drag radials and also does easy burnouts. Corners super good too and never makes an loud noise that other lockers make. 10/10 would defiantly recommend this Locker! ... show more

  • Better than stock.
Way better than the stock open dif. Looks to be much stronger, but I haven't really pressed it yet. Tight turns are no problem. Only (minor Issue is that there is more slack in the worm gears than in the stock spider gears. This makes a slightly larger clunk sound when you reverse direction with an automatic trans. ... show more
