Seems to be a good quality kit. About to install on my 01 st. 4 stars as every moving part is greaseable except for the right upper ball joint. It is a pre greased unit, no problem as i have a needle grease injector, just dont like putting holes in brand new dust boots to grease a part. Time will tell as to the longevity.

The price seemed good and hey I’ve heard of the brand before so I gave them a shot. Unfortunately the quality is garbage. I installed these parts in November of 2023 and the bushings on the upper control arms were completely shot by February of 2024, the bushings in the lower controls started to go around the same time but haven’t completely torn out and the lower ball joint completely failed in March of 2024. Luckily for me when the lower ball joint failed I was in a parking lot and only driving about 10 mph. The ball joint failure did lead to damage of my cv axle and required a tow home but at least it didn’t fail 5 minutes earlier when I was on the freeway and driving 65 mph. What bugs me the most about this product from Detroit Axle is that the included lower ball joints come with grease zerks but if you look at my included pictures you will see that there is not enough clearance between the top of the ball joint and the cv axle to install the grease zerks. I didn’t realize this until I had already pressed in the ball joints and reinstalled the cv axle and knuckles (both sides). I contacted Detroit axle and asked what the deal was and they instructed me to go to the hardware store to buy some zerk plugs and they would reimburse me. So that’s what I did, tore it all apart again just to grease and install the zerk plugs but i didn’t bother Detroit axle for the $4 reimbursement. I would have felt better about it if they would have just sent me the correct ball joints without the grease zerk provisions or better yet just include the correct ball joints in the kit that they sell. Well long story short, between the lower control arms, upper control arms and lower ball joints they all have failed. I didn’t even get a years worth of use from them. So spend a few more dollars and buy the parts from Moog.
