The nozzle is adorable. I've been using these mini vaccuums for 16 years in my art studio. I recently bought one for my kitchen. I wish I'd done that years ago! So handy for vacuuming up coffee grounds, sugar, flour, crumbs, etc., I use this a lot! Those are all battery powered. I bought this usb one for my living room. I got this for my desk at work as I needed something to be able to reach the dirt next to the wall that my other desktop vacuum can't reach. It worked great! I was very pleased by how well it worked in the little cracks. In addition to that, it came with a little brush so that I can sweep any dirt that is not reachable by this item. This little gadget surprised me with how well it works! It charged up pretty quickly and it's so simple to use, just push the power button and slide it over the area you want to clean. Sometimes I need to go over the same area a couple of times to get everything but it's way better than the other methods I was using. This is just perfect for my needs! It fits nicely in my hand, it's not too heavy, and I was able to get it in my favorite color! I haven't had to empty it yet but I don't imagine it's going to be that hard. So glad I found this little vacuum! Get one, you won't regret it! The only drawback is the charging port, it's the old style Micro USB. It was kind of fiddly to get the charging cable plugged in. I think I'll get a magnetic charging cable so I don't have to keep plugging in the cable to charge it. (look them up - they are perfect. You don't have to keep plugging & unplugging the charging cable every time it needs to be charged - because those Micro USB ports get worn out so easily! Magnetic cables solve this issue. The piece with the connector stays in the device and it connects to the actual charging cable with a Magnet on the end of the cable and one the connector! It's genius!)

Just got this today and it is charging. I am starting this review to express some minor issues with this from the start. The device itself takes a Micro USB, itself is not the problem as it comes with a USB to micro USB charger. The area in which you need to plug into the devise is not flat and so you have to watch when you plug it in or else you can risk break it or the plug, in my experience is not uncommon with Mirco USB. When I went back to Amazon to reference if it stated it was micro USB, the only thing I saw was the “product advertisement” of be careful when plugging in the devise. Was that a fair warning? Maybe, maybe not, but I’m repeating here. It advertised it comes with 4 “accessories”on the box. They are including the Instruction Manual as an accessory. The manual itself is in very, very small print on the English side. It has instruction on how to replace the battery and take out the dust cover in the inside but lacked instructions on how to open the outer cover to get to them in the first place, or they were so small I couldn’t find to read them. FYI, turn it over with the bottom cover facing you then turn the bottom counter-clockwise to remove… It is cute and compact. I am hoping the one button operation is going to be easy to use for my Analog/non tech Husband, who I bought it for. Fingers crossed. I am going to have to charge and clean this for him if he does use it.

I am astonished by the positive reviews. I bought it about 10 months ago, liked the device, and it was fine at sucking up crumbs and such. For the first time, I decided to clean it out. It's obvious that the directions about disassembling it were not written by an English speaker and all the videos on the site show it simply coming off by twisting the bottom against the rest of the machine. No matter what I do, I cannot get them to separate. I'm not weak but it is likely to break before it unspools. Does anybody else have this problem? It's like buying a real vacuum cleaner, letting the bag fill up, and then throwing the whole thing away. UPDATE: I finally managed to get it to open up and cleaning out the debris and filter was easy. It could be that the salt it vacuumed up somehow interfered with opening it so I wouldn't warn people away from buying it.
