This is a great space saving desk organizer. I had it put together in less than 10 minutes after I checked to make sure I had all the parts. I've been using a similar desk organizer until now and I chose this one because I think the design will be more functional. I like that the file holders on the left are open-ended so it's easy to slide a file or binder in and take it out. The pen holders are the right size to keep things upright and three is a good number to have to separate different items. The six letter size trays are going to be very handy for keeping bills, receipts and other task papers organized and at the ready. I do wish one drawer had been included, it would have been useful to hold some post it notes, my eyeglasses and a few other smaller items. Overall, I think this is a very functional desk organizer. It feels sturdy and durable and is very stable, not flimsy.

This review is for the Desk Organizers, 6-Tier Paper Letter Tray Office Desk Accessories with File Organizer Holder and Pen Holder,for Office Organization and Storage(Black) priced at $33.96. This organizer was easy to assemble. There are 6 stacked shelves, the top 5 are removable but there is a cross bar under the top one which would hinder putting tall items through the front. There are 2 vertical slots for standing books and files. The pen holder is nice and big and is separated into 3 bins. The entire organizer is metal and wire mesh and is sturdy. The shelves hold letter sized paper and the top 5 slide out or can be removed. I am using this to replace several vertical magazine bins, and being able to utilize the vertical space really cleared up my desk. I am adding one to my supplies list at work today.

This desk organizer is an ideal size to fit on medium size and larger desks. Assembly was quick and simple with the included instructions, which were almost unnecessary. The trays slide out easily so you could remove one or more to make thicker sections to store larger items, but the racks to hold the trays themselves do not adjust to different heights. The unit has a good balance between strength of the compartments and weight of the entire unit; I feel comfortable using it to hold just about anything that I usually store on my desk. The description page says the trays are sized for A4 paper, but they are wide enough to accommodate North American letter size. The product page also says the file holder section is adjustable; however, after assembly, I don’t see any way to do that, but that is a minor quibble. Rubber pads on the bottom of the unit would be nice, since it does slide easily; I’ll probably buy some and stick them on for added stability. Other than those two small points, this is an excellent organizer that is helping me sort my desk. Thumbs up!

How can an arguably larger Desk Organizer be a Space Saver? Real Estate on a desk or credenza is a valuable commodity. The main reason this desk organizer can save space is that it builds up. Space above a desk or credenza is usually open and is being utilized more and more with office accessories. A good example is the monitor riser which not only raises your monitor to a more comfortable viewing level but frees up space for storage and organization underneath. So, when I saw this desk organizer, I immediately began thinking about how I could incorporate into my workspace to save (or add additional) space and make me more effective and efficient. I liked the fact that with its black metal mesh design it matched my other office accessories perfectly. As evidenced by the pictures it comes in pieces but literally took 5 minutes to assemble thanks to the professionally written instructions. When completed this desk organizer eventually replaced 2 other desktop accessories I had been using.

This is very sturdy, which is why I chose it. My plastic one was cracking. This metal one has 6 shelves, my other had 4 shelves, but they are about the same height because the shelves on this one are more narrow than I am used to. It is easy to assemble, and come with an extra screw. I appreciate the two "stand up" sections on the left, and the little bins on the right. This metal paper tray holds the papers portrait style, my other is horizontal. At first I was disappointed because it makes it difficult to get items that have slid to the back, but I discovered that the shelves slide out so I can just pull the shelf and get anything in the back. There are bars in the back so that items are much more likely to NOT fall out the back. The black matte finish is appealing and matches other desk accessories that I have. I am pleased with it. Made in China.

It did take the help of a second person putting in 2 of the screws because the rod would turn with it. So, my husband used those kitchen grip things for opening jars and held onto the rods while I put it together. Took maybe 15 minutes total. Came out great, solid metal, not cheap plastic( I hate those). A great office desk organizer at a very reasonable price. 5 stars!!
