The two or three things I think most people will be interested in: This desk is super sturdy and stable. The assembly process is fairly simple, but you may want someone to help you out. I was able to do it by myself in about an hour (I am a fatty and had to take a couple 5 minute breaks, if you are a more able-bodied person with some experience putting together things it probably can get done in 30 minutes or less). What I love about this desk is how rock-solid it is after assembly. I was able to pick it up from the room where I put it together to the space where it lived and felt zero jiggle or unsteadiness. I have a dual monitor stand that clamps onto the back of the desk and even when I type energetically or pound on the desk, there is virtually no movement or shaking. In these days of remote work, the fact that my webcam on top of my monitor doesn't shake is a big plus. The "carbon fiber" look on the desktop is nice and seems to clean up perfectly. For the price, this desk is a great value, just make sure you're getting the size you need. In my case I needed exactly a 40" desk to fill out my workspace. The desk came in a compact box and is very light considering its build quality (once assembled) so it was very easy to carry up to my apartment from the lobby. I'm not a fan of the graphics on the legs, but in my setup (see pic attached) it's not able to be seen so that's a very small consideration. If a 40" basic desk is what you need, you cannot go wrong with this item. I keep trying to shake it and it is just as solid as can be.

My partner and I are avid gamers on the Xbox One. We recently got new 27" monitors and were looking to get a nice gaming desk. I am also a graduate student who was looking to have room to put my laptop, my Xbox, and the monitor on the desk and still have plenty of room. I was super excited about the price and we ended up getting two! There is a ton of leg room and it meets our needs. It is smaller than I thought it would be, but it works for us (especially with the price). I was excited about the good reviews but was also wary about the bad ones regarding holes not lining up and desk arriving damaged. Thankfully, we did not have these issues. Assembly was super easy, especially the second time around. Probably took us 20-30 minutes per desk. Now here for the downside to this purchase... The top shelf that you screw in is SO TALL. I had my monitor up there and since the monitor has a stand that cannot be removed/adjusted, I was craning my neck in order to see the game even with my chair on the highest setting. I was very excited about the shelf so I could have the extra room underneath, but, alas, I am unable to game and see my monitor comfortably with it attached. So we removed it and set the monitor on the desk itself. Overall, very satisfied with our purchase. The cupholder and headset holder are AWESOME. The cupholder actually holds a Yeti tall cup!! Just be aware that the top shelf is very tall. If you have a tall chair and are okay with your knees touching the top of the desk, keep it on. Otherwise, maybe leave it off...

I have been using a dinner table as my pc desk for a few years now - it was one of the crappy old heavy ones from the 90s lol so needless to say this new desk is a much-needed upgrade. Lightweight - durable - stable - looks amazing - and you won't find a 55' desk with the headphone holder, and cup holder for cheaper. The price point sold me because I had another one in my cart that was identical but at $200 Obviously this one is probably more lightweight than that other one but if you take care of your stuff, this will last years Easy to assemble but I will say - pay attention this is important - read all the directions and look closely at the diagram pictures prior to starting on it so you know how it is supposed to look - I made a mistake when putting the first metal piece on and put it upside down so I had to take it off by the time I had both legs on lol that doubled the amount of time it took - so realistically it should only take about 45 mins to put together. Also don't be a doofus and over tighten the screws like some other people do in the reviews - once you hear the wood give you the first slight cracking noise stop tightening - its plenty tight at that point- if you over tighten it and make the bolt pop out the other side - thats your fault lol I haven't had any issues with it so far and the surface is smooth af - can't beat it at the price.

During assembly, you need to tighten the screws into the tabletop part of the desk, through the leg pieces, and as soon as you start to get it tight, you can hear the MDF cracking or breaking. The pictured screw went right through to the top, taking a chunk out of the surface of the desk. The instructions said to tighten all screws once all are in place. So, we followed the directions and will be asking for a refund. I realized this was not going to be a high qualify desk, but for what we paid, it should not have cracked like this. I will be contacting amazon.

thanks to COVID, our company has decided to keep us working from home for much longer than initially thought. the time table has changed from "let's reassess each month" to "indefinitely" (i'm in Orange County, CA). here is my specific situation... not much room to spare anywhere in my house for a desk, but really need a desk or workspace. i have a docking station, two monitors, a monitor arm for the two monitors, mouse, keypad. the 40 inch size is perfect. and the price was on the lower end of all the results from my search. honestly, i wanted an ikea... it was sold out and not available for over a month. i don't use the extra stand this desk comes with because i have the arm mounts for my monitors. didn't have any issues with assembly. no scratches or cracks. clean new desk. the only other desk in contention was $185, almost twice as expensive. I would say this was a great return in value. certainly feels like the perfect desk for me.
