As an advanced tanner, I was suggested to buy a tingle by my tanning salon to achieve the dark tan I was looking for. Bombshell itself is a great product... But there are definitely some things I would've liked to know before purchasing the product some good and some not so good. First off, I highly recommend only experienced tanners to use this product. The tanning lotion contains tingle, which is supposed to have circulation faster within your body to make a tan appear faster than normal. The feeling is like an itching sensation and the aftermath is being red after you get out of the tanning bed. Again, tingle is a great thing if you are experienced at tanning and enjoy the feeling of it. If you have not tried tingle lotion, maybe your best bet is to try a sample lotion packet and see if you like it first. I however love it. The bottle has been in my possession for about four months now and I still have product left after me tanning a couple sessions a week. I am very impressed with the amount of product. The smell reminds me in a way of pomegranate and citrus. The bronzer is rich and dark and something I really like about Bombshell is that the bronzer lasts on your skin without staining your clothes. Out of any lotion I've ever used and I've basically used them all this is hands down my way of getting the darkest the quickest. I used this product for about a week in a mid level bed and everyone of my co workers had been asking if I had recently been to the Caribbean islands. If I could choose one lotion and stick with it for the rest of my life, hands down it'd be Bombshell. I've tried the popular ones like Black, Roar, Mood, 40 Karat Gold, Playboy, Smile your dark, Spellbound, and nothing gives me a richer more real looking tan than this product. I've been tanning for a little over 10 years now. For the past couple years I've been using Designer Skin Glamour Goddess, which is also a tingle lotion and I really liked it but felt like changing it up. BombShell has a pleasant cherry fragrance to it although perhaps a bit stronger than I would like. It has a slight Crayola scent to it but that seems par for the course with these lotions. The tingle felt pretty mild when I was in the bed, but when I sat down in the car afterwards the tingle kicked in pretty strongly, more than what I felt with Glamour Goddess even though GG claims 300X to BombShell's 100. I naturally have an olive complexion and this got me a nicer shade of bronze/brown than what I've been getting out of Glamour Goddess, possibly due to the bronzer which I dont think Glamour Goddess has any bronzer in it. I tend to stay away from anything with bronzers because I always am concerned about staining my hands, but there was no staining with BombShell. I think I prefer the scent of Glamour Goddess, it smells like coconut and is a bit more subdued of a scent overall. I am happy with BombShell though and will probably keep using this for some time.

This is one of the best tanning lotions I have used. I worked at a tanning bed for a few years, and one girl's glorious (brown, not orangy) tan prompted me to try this. It does have a tingle, but I personally don't find it to be overwhelming. It makes me a little red and slightly itchy for about an hour, but the most amazing color emerges and it's not any sort of burn. I'm doing what another girl is doing an altering this with Designer Skin's Luminary and I'm also using a high pressure bed. By far the most expensive combination I've ever done, but if you could see the difference in my skin in smoothness, color, and smaller pores - It's GREAT. If I'm going to tan, which I'll eventually break off of, I'm going to do it right with the best products for my skin (leaving me smooth and not dry and cracked and burnt) and the highlest levels of "bronzing rays" rather than "burning rays" in a bed. Also girls, get a base tan and THEN a spray tan and that also looks good! Base tan to get color and it's not tan spray just going on white skin, and the spray tan to even out color and cover up any skin imperfections. Back to Bombshell...my first and favorite tingle lotion!

First off before i jump into this review (since i have a lot to say), let me note this is coming from someone who already had a decent tan prior to using bombshell. By 'decent tan', i mean about a nice medium golden colour. I wasn't incredibly brown or anything and was stuck in a tanning plateau (which is so annoying). When people in reviews say they're "dark now", their level of dark usually goes unspecified so you're left kind of clueless since they don't bother to explain what they started out as before using a lotion. I feel explaining that gives a better idea of the product's true potential. I just tried this today in a lvl 3 bed for 10 minutes, and man I am the darkest i have been in a long time. Brown, not orange. It smells the same after tanning as you first put it on but no gross smell. Has a cherry scent. The lotion is pretty moderate in terms of the tingle factor. It was hot but, not unbearable. And I was overestimating it a bit. It actually isn't that bad. I personally enjoy feeling hot when i tan, because I actually feel im getting a good tan. Afterwards, i was really pink and felt hot. I didn't feel burnt or tingly. Just my skin was warm to touch for a bit. Lasted about 4-6 hours then i was good. I also want to point out how much i liked that it dried pretty fast after i applied it. Id say about a good 45 seconds. I hate having to wait for lotion to dry before i can get in the bed. Sometimes with other lotions, i have to dance around or accumulate some kind of air flow because the lotion takes forever to dry. And its annoying. I know im not the only one who has that issue. The consistancy was smooth and not thick. I didn't have to empty half the bottle to cover my whole body. A little covers a good amount of surface area. That's a plus which means it'll last a lot longer. I was already tan when i started using this, but was majorly stuck in a plateau for a while which is what made me buy this lotion. I read if you're in a plateau and are having trouble getting darker, try a good tingle lotion. I got this one because of that reason and also partly because i am not a fan of cheap lotions whatsoever. They do nothing but waste my time and money. It sort of reminds me of the tattoo saying "cheap tattoos aren't good and good tattoos aren't cheap". A good lotion will not be cheap. Flat out. Especially if you're already tan, and are looking to get darker, you'll need to spend a little extra but this one was definitely worth it. If you're hesitant, please don't be. Its worth the money and gives a very deep brown tan. As for people just trying to build a base tan, i would not recommend using this to do that only because it is not for that. This is to trigger a richer tan after you got the base tan going on. Use something milder to build that good base tan before moving up to this. You will just end up burning yourself badly and it doesn't matter how much you don't burn easily. Everyone still does and CAN. Also, don't ever use a tingle lotion on your face. You'll cause blood vessels to break under the skin since its so delicate. Not a good idea. Overall, Bombshell is a major plus lotion and I am a very pleased customer. Seriously. Buy it. You won't regret it.

This lotion is my go to everytime. I have tried so many others and the tingle is just not there. It smells great and does have a bronzer.on it so your tan stays. It is not for beginner tanners. You will burn. Advanced only. When I start tanning I go no lotion for the first 5 times then put this on and I am super dark by the 3rd time I use it. I just wish the price hadn't gone up so much. But I guess everything is. Definitely recommend for advanced tanners!!!

Great lotion, but I thought from all the reviews that it would have a stronger tingle or be hotter, but its still a good lotion and it does have a good tingle to it. I was not disappointed I just expected more from the reviews. If you are looking for an extreme tingle or are already using a tingler and are already pretty dark I'd choose something else. I used this and another DS lotion to work up a deep base tan. I no longer feel the tingle and ive reached my "plateau" so onto a new hotter tingle with more bronzing. Its easy to apply, and goes on smoothly. It does NOT have ALOT of bronzers in It but it does give you some nice color, not orange but a natural color. It doesn't turn your hands colors or give you streaks and leaves your skin super soft. I love the smell of it, its not overwhelming or stinky. Id score this as A- itd be an A+ if it had more bronzing. Id recommend this lotion if you have at least a little bit of a tan and want to get a nice deep golden base tan. But would not recommend if you are trying to get past your plateau and are an experienced tingle user. Ive been using tinglers for years and I love my tingle hott. So what might be not so hot for me could be really hot for you. When it comes to tingles, they effect every one different. For those giving this a bad rating because you turned blotchy red and burned or itched, that is what its suppose to do! You dont give a bad rating because a lotion does what its suppose to do and you didnt like it. If you dont like hot or tingle lotion dont buy this lotion or any tingle lotions :)

I really enjoyed my tanning session with bombshell. The tingle is there , it’s just not as intense as something like fuel my fire. But I did sweat a lot with this one & the smell is just so amazing ! Gave me a good booster. Also it does come out thick & fast. I also heard to shake it up really well before using because apparently the tingle likes to sit at the bottom. If you’re looking for something with a kick to it , i recommend fuel my fire. But this product I did enjoy even though the tingle I’m looking for wasn’t there. I think this one makes a good bronzer.

I absolutely love this product!! Allow me to warn you though, if you are not well adjusted to tinglers, I would not use this product immediately. This product should be used once you work your way up. Definitely not a starter tingle/bronzer for those who have never used them. I actually began with Mojo which doesn't smell all that great... To be honest, most tinglers do not have the best smell but BombShell's scent is that of Kiwi Watermelon scent. It doesn't smell terrible its just not my favorite smell haha. I have used several tingle lotions and this is by far one of my favorites...hands down!! The only con with ANY tingle lotion is being sure to evenly spread it over your skin in order for you not to come out looking blotchy. Skin will be RED after you tan but I know with my skin type, it quickly turns into a beautiful golden and NATURAL looking tan. It doesn't leave you orange or "fake" looking like some lotions can. I would suggest using a daily moisturizer. **QUICK TIP** I personally shower prior to applying the lotion and getting into the tanning bed. I use exfoliating gloves, hot water and gel that does not clog pores as I want the lotion to sink into my pores. Sometimes I apply the lotion fresh out of the shower and sometimes I wait until I get to the salon. It's completely your choice but I find that immediately after your shower is best bc your pores are still open (as long as you are not rubbing your skin raw to dry off... gently dry and pat lol). Plus it doesn't make it so obvious if you missed spots lol. I highly recommend this product as I am sure you will LOVE it!!
