  • Fits perfectly on my 100 series land cruiser
The pulley looked a little different from the stock pulley on my 2002 toyota Land Cruiser but fit correctly and runs great, highly recommend.

  • Works with Lexus
Purchased this after I had suspicions of the one the mechanic installed. When I decided to do it myself I found out the mechanic installed some UAC brand compressor. While the compressor was new I had intermittent issues with the clutch shutting off. Installed this and has been running flawlessly.

  • Works, but was damaged in shipping.
The compressor worked and was a direct replacement for my 2006 Land Cruiser. Unfortunately the electrical plug that connects the unit to the vehicle was damaged in shipping. The box was beat up when it arrived. I did not have time to return it so I had to install it as it was. It works fine. 3 stars for damage during shipping. ... show more

  • Very disappointing service
I purchased a new Denso compressor, which came with a new clutch to replace a 20 year old Denso compressor that was working fine, except the clutch had failed. The cost for the new compressor and clutch wasn’t significantly more than a new clutch alone, and being 20 years old… well, you get the idea. My friend and I replaced the dessicant bag in the condenser at the same time we installed the new compressor. This vehicle doesn’t get driven much, and after only nine months and about 6,000 miles the AC system quit. Diagnosis: the new Denso compressor had seized. For compressor warranty purposes, Denso requires a new condenser be installed and the system be flushed. Okay, I can understand that if a compressor had an internal failure, but the old compressor was working fine. The clutch was the problem, and you certainly wouldn’t replace the condenser, or flush the system, due to a failed clutch. I’ve always thought of Denso as a premium supplier of parts, and decided maybe we were just unlucky and got a bad one. I ordered a new Denso compressor and my friend and I installed it; this time with a new condenser and we flushed the system. Because there would be no warranty coverage, we decided to disassemble the seized compressor and find out what had failed. Sure enough, one of the two cylindrical thrust bearings was fried. To me that was very disappointing service from what I had thought was a quality parts manufacturer. I certainly hope the new compressor lasts a lot longer, but my faith in Denso’s quality is largely gone. ... show more
