Getting this optic for $850 or less is a steal, as this is easily more in line with a $1k to even $1200 LPVO. I do wish it shipped with better lens cap protection.

Easily should be $1000+ quality of the glass is on bar with Eotech Vudu. The illumination is the best I've seen on any LPVO. I can easily shoot at 1x like I'm running a red dot. Probably the most underrated scope on the market right now. I won't be shocked if it's priced over $1000 in a year or two.

    • This Delta is absolutely the way to go for a sub-$1k LPVO. Darn Fine Shot is a great vendor too.
Comparable in almost every way to the Steiner P4xi (I have and will keep both), but you get an extra 2x mag on top. Eyebox is a hair tighter than the Steiner’s when above 4x as you’d expect, plus the edge distortion gets slightly worse above 4x as well. I’d call it 99.5% of the Razor Gen2E 1-6x in edge clarity at 1x. The illuminated reticle do is nuclear bright and functions exactly like an Aimpoint in all practical ways, and while the reticle design doesn’t naturally draw my eye to the center of it quite as fast as the P4xi it has more accurate BDC stadia in my experience. With the pricing on the P4xi these days, this Delta is unquestionably the way to go for a ~$1k budget on an LPVO. It’s my current 3gun optic, and I don’t see upgrading to a 1-8x or 1-10x since the courses I shoot top out at 400yds. Would have to spend a loooooot more to get a liiiiiiiiitle better.
