I am really disappointed with this product because I bought it brand new, took it out of the box in its original packing and the frame under the table top as well as one of the chairs were broken. I emailed Delta children 3 days ago and still have not received a response. This was supposed to be a gift for my granddaughter's birthday. She was standing beside me when I took it out of the box and was waiting to play on it so I went ahead and put it together but I'm sure it isn't going to last long since it is broken in multiple places. I'm just shocked I haven't heard a response from the company yet...poor product and poor customer service. UPDATE: I just called the company and they will not provide a refund, a discount or a replacement. I would advise you to find another company to purchase a table from. ... show more

    • Would not reccomend, because it breaks easily!
First off I would like to say this table is made out of really crappy type of plywood that breaks really easily with rowdy kids. This table took me more than what it usually takes me to assemble because the screw set it comes with is very sensitive it needs to be at the exact position it needs to be in to screw in. All of the legs bend slightly inward and makes me concerned about its stability. When buying this item be prepared to constantly have to tighten the screws on it the legs already are wobbly even after screwing it in tightly. I would not recommend giving this chair and table set in a room where kids play a lot because with in a week of having this item the chair fell backwards and the back board broke the pegs in it and the wood varnish fell off; followed by the wood completely being snapped off a week later due to the kids twisting it too much. Also this table set scratches easily and I would not recommend using it on wooden or vinyl flooring because even the bottom side of this chair is slippery.     • Shoddy Construction- Had to Send it Back Twice!
This table is manufactured poorly. After ordering it once and having to return it because it arrived broken, I was looking forward to getting it a second time because the color was perfect. However, when I assembled the table, the leg would not go on properly. I wouldn't recommend this table given that it was evident that the construction was haphazard and shoddy. When putting the screws and the washers in to secure the table legs, the holes were drilled crooked. The leg was not flush to the top of the table making it visibly crooked and the table off balance. Ultimately, we returned it. I'd skip this product and save yourself the time of assembling it only to discover it wasn't what you hoped for. ... show more

You get what you pay for with this. It was super easy to assemble and seems to be sturdy overall but there were some major imperfections. The table wobbles. The finish is inconsistent throughout. Some pieces are finished well, some are not finished at all and some are half way finished as shown in the picture. The table top has two major imperfections that are peeling up (shown in pictures). Due to the lack of finish on the table top and the big crack/imperfections, it will definitely be hard to keep it clean. If your looking for a cheap low quality table it’s fine but I was hoping for at least consistent finish and no major imperfections. I’ll see if my dad can fix it, if not looks like I’ll be disassembling and returning it which is a bummer because it matches my daughters play kitchen perfectly for a reasonable price. ... show more

Table and chairs are solid and sturdy. Gave it 3 stars because I recieved the table with two big black type scratches on the top of it and a crack on a side from where a pre-screwed screw was installed. I did keep the table though because I needed it for the kids in our new home and really didnt want to deal with the hassle of returning and them continuing to eat on the floor. ... show more

    • No replacement parts!
The table is just the right size for my 2 grandchildren. I just wish I had read all the reviews before ordering I may have thought twice. One of the screws has no teeth on it. One of the crossbar braces on a chair is broken. I contacted Delta Kids by email and got a reply that it would take a few days because they are so busy. So sent back and asked if they could tell me how much extra chairs are. I got a quick reply. They were very quick to give me the link for extra chairs but none of them are the same color as the original ones and the table and are $34.99. But the worst part was they also told me they had no replacement parts. Not even the screw I guess. That sounds weird. They also said I would have to ship my product back. Wrote back and told them that I will definitely think twice before purchasing another Delta Kids product. I will find a wood worker who can make me a brace. ... show more

I actually really liked this table. The color was a little darker than I expected but it was still beautiful and exactly what we needed. Downfall... The table top seemed to get a liytle beat up fairly quickly but kids are crazy. It wasnt till this past week that my avarage sized 4 old fell back in the chair and the back instantly broke and splintered. Thankfully he was not injured and no splinters got into him. Would definatly recomment the company looking at making the back of the chair NOT out of press bard. ... show more

    • Not good quality
I bought this set for my son's virtual classes when I needed to drop him at my parents' home. Literaly, he used the chair 2 times a week for 3.5 hours. It is a heavy set and I thought it would last for many years. Fast forward from August 2020 to a couple of months, the first chair back rest broke and with this, I discovered that it was not wood and finally on 5/9/21, the second chair back rest broke, leaving me with the table.
