This was very easy to build, I had it together in maybe 30 minutes. The instructions are a little hard to read, particularly with the side parts on the base just because it wasn’t very clear on direction (the bigger circles go inwards!) but it’s adorable, and my 2 year old loves it. The paint had a few minor imperfections but I’m sure it’ll be ruined through toddlerhood anyways. The price is great for being able to have a cute chair during the day and a little desk during playtime. I do wish the base had a backing to keep the bins from moving through the back, but I’m sure if it was against the wall it wouldn’t be as much of a problem. ... show more

We bought this for a granddaughter for Christmas. It works well for a color and table sitting bench to store some of her toys and books and crayons. However, the top of it is definitely scratched and worn off.

Assembly was easy. Only needed a screwdriver. Good quality pieces/hardware. Sturdy and easy to convert from bench to desk and back. The fabric drawers fit coloring/activity books and sketch pads really well, which is what I wanted to use at least one of them for. Going to make a seat pad for my little one but he likes it just fine without one, as well. Probably would work for a kid up to 6 or 7 years old. Or even a couple of toddlers. Just wish the table part was a bit larger space, or wish it went straight across, instead of having a curve to it. But, overall a great value. And, yes, there are little knobs you need to screw in & reposition when converting it, but these are here to help prevent the child from moving it freely and potentially pinching little fingers. It takes a few seconds to unscrew and rescrew each time, so don't worry about this aspect unless you're a total crybaby. ... show more

Pleased with purchase. Smaller then expected. However, it serves it serves it purpose. We did have issues with putting it together as some of the pre drilled holes were on an angle. We fixed that by re drilling them. Otherwise, it is totally functional and works as stated

I really like this product and so does my toddler. They use it everyday since we got it at the end of December (it's now the beginning of February) and *so far* it seems to be holding up just fine. I know other reviews complain about the little balls you have to unscrew and rescrew to reposition it, but I don't mind this feature as it prevents the child from repositioning it themselves which could cause them to hurt themself from pinching themself or dropping it onto themself, as well as prevents them from damaging the product by letting it slam down or anything. I will say the little storage containers are nothing too impressive, but I didn't have real high expections for them anyway. Now the reason I'm giving this a lower rating is because a piece of it arrived damaged. One of the wood boards had a big crack. Instead of dealing with replacement parts or trying to return it or anything my husband went ahead and used wood glue to fix the problem and it seems to be perfectly fine now like I said it's held up well over this past month, however it is disappointing to receive items damaged so I couldn't give this a higher rating. ... show more
