  • Ever listen to “One Piece at a Time” by Johnny Cash?
Color: Red Style: Grand Prix
So my son is finally to the age he is graduating from a crib to a “big boy” bed. He’s on cloud nine because in his mind he is not a baby anymore. So we order this product and we are excited because of next day delivery. We build up the excitement by telling our son, “tomorrow night you get to sleep in your big boy bed!” Then the next day happens. Our product arrives, daddy has all his tools ready to assemble, mommy is gonna place all the stickers and decals perfectly, we’re ready to go. Our two kids rushed with excitement help carry the bed piece by piece to my son’s room. We’re ready to go... then disaster sets in. My son is not moving up. He’s not graduating to a big boy bed. And here is why. At some point, someone screwed up. I get it, these are mass produced plastic pieces, but at the end of the day no one checked to make sure our box had a complete set. And once we laid out all our pieces we found out we did not have a piece F. Rather we had two identical piece H’s. (I work in the automotive industry so I’ll break it down to you like this; we were sent two driver side fenders, but no passenger fender to match). I could not make a complete race car. I was mad because this was going to be a weekend event. Daddy was going to build the new bed and my son was going to celebrate being a big boy.... end of story. After I calmed my screaming son and explained that he would have to wait for his “big boy” bed, we then settled in on what we need to do next. I should have just returned the product to Amazon. They do a great job with returns, customer service, and overall resolution, but instead I make my second mistake (the first was buying this bed). Inside our box is a card that says “don’t return to your retailer, if you have a problem call this number.” I tell my wife, “let’s call this number and give them a chance to make things right.” God bless her for listening to my stupidity, and she says “ok.” The next day my wife calls the help line and talks to a customer service representative. The rep tells my wife that she will receive an email with instructions to file a claim. My wife waits, no email. My wife follows up, explains sob story again and this time gets an email with instructions on how to file a claim. We file a claim. The company request “proof” they didn’t package the bed right. We send them pictures of two driver side fenders. Company responds they will resolve. We wait. Today we received our resolution. Almost two weeks after we ordered our next day, red, toddle race car bed, we received our piece F (the passenger side fender), and to our delight... it is... blue... not matching any of the other components of the car. So two weeks after ordering a next day product I have a son still sleeping in a crib, a bed that if put together would still need a paint job, a frustrated wife, and an overall loss of my faith in humanity. So at the end of the day, don’t buy this bed. ... show more

  • Great purchase. Got my son out my bed who refuse his crib altogether
Color: Blue Style: Grand Prix
So this bed is a FRAME ONLY. THE only this on the bottom is a "strap" like a belt supposedly" holding" the frame together . I stepped on it and it popped right out. But it does not take away from the bed FRAME. I also used my IKEA crib mattress, it fits fine not perfect. I have a big 2.5 year old..I almost buy another one but NOT worth buying another crib mattress when the bed FRAME itself is convertible. I rather wait and get the twin mattress. I love this FRAME because my son never willingly slept in his crib..even when he is sound asleep and he felt himself being lowered in there he would wake up. HE ALWAYS SLEPT IN MY BED. The FIRST DAY he got this FRAME he went in there and sleep not on his own, but after I read his bedtime stories and he finish breastfeeding..yes 2 years still breastfeeding. Lol He sleeps in his bed everyday!! Although he will wakes up and come to my bed to feed through the night I put him back, or he go on his own depends how alert he is. ALTHOUGH most time around after 4 or 5 am he wants to sleep in my bed and that's fine because that increases his chance of waking a little later that after 7..which he always up earlier when in his bed. I added lights to his carz fairy light . I also added his crib bumper in there through the corners where the parts screws in. IT'S NECESSARY ALTHOUGH it doesn't stops all the BANGS during the night from wild sleeping. I feel bad it's loud because the bed is like hard plastic, but better than Wood..IF it was Wood I might find knots in the am. Nice bed simply because MY SON SLEPT IN THERE WILLINGLY and I no longer have to sleep at the very EDGE of my bed because my son is BOSSY and would kick me off my own bed if his feet is within reach of my body..he needs his OWN space. ... show more

  • Cute rip off all in one not happy
Color: Black Style: Grand Prix
This is a cute bed that my son loves it but i DONT first off the box came in completely shredded condition causing the car to be covered in dirt. And the bag of screws was ripped open pretty sure missing pieces to convert to the twin and put the spoiler Wings on the back 2nd you're paying for four walls that's it it didn't even have a bottom your mattress is sitting on the floor if you don't have a box spring very unhappy for $229 I expected it to have a bottom and not sitting directly on the floor it's literally a border not a bed frame ... show more

  • Great transitional bed, easy assembly
Color: Blue Style: Grand Prix
The smile on my 3 yr olds face was priceless! Not only does he love the toddler bed, but my husband loved the fact that it didn't take an aerospace engineering degree to put to together. Great quality, fun stickers and a fantastic transition for our little guy.

  • Well made, sturdy and safe, looks like pictured after sssembly
Color: Blue Style: Grand Prix
I bought this bed for my 18 month old grandson who loves it, he can get in and out from front as well as sides of the car safely, I purchased a standard crib mattress for the bed and it fits perfectly, only thing I found frustrating was the assembly instructions, they included one pamphlet and an additional revised one, each was difficult to follow because the diagrams were confusing, numbers/letters didn’t seem to match some parts when you first looked at them, had to really study directions ... show more
