It was vacuum compressed and you have to assemble it yourself. It was annoying to put together because you have to make sure the edge seems lined up with the edge of the foam or else it looks warped. I had to get my husband to help me squeeze the foam in so I could zip it up. By the time we were done squeezing the foam in, the fabric ripped so I exchanged the product. Overall, the foam and the material the chair cover are pretty good quality. However it seems the foam is cut too big or the case is too small. It was a lot of work to get this squeezed into the cover and zipped shut. And now it has that stretched portion where the seat meets the back, as you can see in the picture. I'm afraid the seams won't hold over a long time with how tight the case is. I've tried adjusting this a lot and this is the best I can get it without a thick seam going onto the seat or back. So I'm disappointed in that I hoped it would look better. ... show more

I ordered another chair off here and it actually ended up being too small for my one year old who wanted a chair like his brother and sister. So after hours of looking I decided on this one and boy was it a good choice!! It is perfectly sturdy and the cover comes off for cleaning. PAY ATTENTION TO HOW THE VELCRO ALL CONNECTS WHEN REMOVING THE COVER OR YOU WILL BE IN FOR A LONG RIDE OF TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW IT GOES BACK TOGETHER.
