I’ve been using this monitor for a while now and I absolutely love it. The curved display hits that sweet spot—it doesn’t feel extreme or unnatural, just a smooth, immersive experience that’s perfect for work and multitasking. Multitasking is effortless. I can split windows and run multiple apps side by side with no extra setup. It just works, and it’s been a great upgrade from a dual monitor setup. For me, this size feels just right—not too small, not overwhelming. I’ve tried larger ultrawides before, and they were just too much for my desk and viewing distance. This one feels balanced. You do get slightly smaller "squarish" split windows compared to two full monitors, but it's a trade-off I’m happy with. It’s very bright—maybe a bit too much at times—but the monitor does have a lot of customization options. I just need to spend more time dialing it in. Build quality is great—sturdy, professional, and minimal. I love that it powers my laptop even when it’s off, and the built-in hub makes it easy to keep everything plugged in and clean. The ambient light sensor is a nice extra, and even the speakers are decent for day-to-day use. It’s a little bulky and not exactly flashy, but that’s a fair trade for everything it offers. So far, no issues at all. If you’re looking for a reliable, feature-rich ultrawide that’s perfect for work, this one’s a win.

I'll be upfront: the image quality on this monitor, when it works properly, is good. The colors are fairly accurate, the panel is bright, and the resolution is what you'd expect from a Dell display at this price point. That's where my positive experience ends. After several months of normal use, dead pixels appeared. Not stuck pixels that might recover, these are fully dead, permanently black spots on the panel. Dell's own support documentation acknowledges that dead pixels cannot be fixed and that the only solution is replacing the display panel. Fair enough. That's why you have a warranty. Except, apparently, you don't. Not really. When I contacted Dell support, I was told my pixel count didn't meet their threshold for a warranty replacement. Dell's pixel policy allows for up to five dark subpixel defects on many of their monitors before they'll consider it a problem worth addressing. And this is under their supposed “Premium Panel Exchange” warranty for higher-end displays. Read that again: you can buy a premium monitor, develop multiple dead pixels within the warranty period, and Dell can still decline to fix it because the fine print says a handful of dead pixels is "within industry standards." That's a policy designed to protect Dell, not the customer. The stand is a separate and equally frustrating issue. The height adjustment mechanism became unreliable not long after purchase. It no longer holds position properly, which makes ergonomic adjustment essentially useless. I contacted Dell support expecting this to be a straightforward warranty fix. Instead, I was told they don't provide replacement stands under warranty or even sell them as separate parts. Then there's the support experience itself, which deserves its own warning. Getting an actual human being on the phone is a feat of endurance. Dell's support line routes you through a gauntlet of AI "assistants" that loop into each other endlessly, each one seemingly designed to redirect you to another automated system rather than resolve anything. After navigating the same dead ends multiple times, the line simply hung up on me (no warning, no callback, nothing). This happened more than once. I had to call multiple times before I finally reached a real person, and by that point I'd already wasted a significant amount of time I'll never get back. When I did finally get through, the representative acknowledged that the dead pixels are a manufacturing defect. Not physical damage. Not misuse. A manufacturing defect in their words. I appreciated the honesty in the moment. Then the follow-up email arrived. The written summary Dell sent to document the call described the monitor as physically damaged, directly contradicting what the representative said during the conversation and despite the supporting pictures they requested and acknowledged. I have no idea how a monitor that was acknowledged as having a manufacturing defect on the phone becomes a physically damaged unit in the paperwork, but the practical effect is clear: if more pixels die and I call again, Dell now has “documentation” on file positioning this as physical damage rather than a product defect. That makes any future warranty claim significantly harder to pursue. Whether that discrepancy is the result of a clerical error or something more deliberate, it's not acceptable, and I'd encourage anyone dealing with Dell support to carefully review any follow-up documentation they send you and dispute inaccuracies in writing immediately. The bottom line: Dell advertises its warranty as a mark of quality and reliability. In practice, it's riddled with loopholes: a dead pixel policy that permits defects by design, no replacement parts for mechanical failures, a support line designed to exhaust you before you reach a human, and post-call documentation that doesn't match what was said. For a monitor at this price, that's simply unacceptable. I would not buy another Dell monitor, and I'd strongly advise anyone considering one to research the policy for their specific model before purchase.

This monitor is great. Great resolution. Not the easiest to adjust settings though. Will improve your ability to work with split screens and easy on the eyes. Best for office type work.

The Dell UltraSharp 34 inch monitor is definitely an investment, but one I am glad I made. If you work for many hours, want something productive, and help with a bit of eye protection I would 100% pull the trigger and buy this monitor!! Don’t get me wrong it is pricey but it is honestly worth it. I use my computer for a wide range of tasks and often work long days, sometimes up to 12 hours, and my eyes would frequently feel strained by the end. One of the main reasons I chose this monitor was for its eye comfort features, which have made a noticeable difference. There was a bit of an adjustment period at first. The color on my unit seemed slightly dull compared to what I was used to, though that may have been due to my settings not being fully optimized. However, this monitor is large and easy to set up. I also love the clean, simple design of the back and how much easier it makes setting up my laptop. The built in USB ports are incredibly convenient. I can plug in my webcam and other devices directly into the monitor instead of my laptop, which frees up valuable ports. Even better, the USB C connection both displays to the monitor and charges my laptop at the same time, which significantly reduces cable clutter. It is one of those features you do not fully appreciate until you have used it. If you are on the fence about making the investment for eye comfort, saving space, or overall convenience, I recommend going for it. The size is another major advantage. The screen is impressively large and makes multitasking across multiple windows much easier, which helps boost productivity. Honestly, I was most surprised by just how big it feels in person. Photos really do not do it justice.
