This is cheap as anything but looks beautiful (given it's 1440p). It's mind blowing that you can get this for the money. I am disappointed at the volume of the speakers, but I'd feel churlish to take it down to 4* at this price. They're better than most laptops, but only just. If you're relying on that you would not give it 5 stars. Also, I don't game, I wouldn't be surprised if its response time is rubbish, but it's certainly looks great for general use. I am a graphic artist and require true color match with major color systems, plus sharp clear resolution in pursuit of perfect design for clients. This monitor is the first one that dicks all the boxes for my design and aesthetic needs. I am so pleased with this monitor both for professional and personal reasons.     • Brilliant color, perfect frame rate, great resolution
1440P at 75Hz IPS is the ideal monitor. Colors are beautiful, resolution is sharp and frame rate is buttery smooth. response time is perfectly fine for first person shooters. The monitor is nice and large for at least two application windows open side-by-side. When I got this monitor it was only $220 before taxes, but the price has gone up for some reason idk why. I'd wait a little bit to snag a similar monitor from Dell for the same price point. It can get pretty bright if you use this at night, so having good backlighting behind the actual monitor, ambient light, would make it easier on the eyes for long periods of usage. ... show more

    • Speakers are very tinny; no bass
After two days with this display, I can admire that It's lightweight, its image looks good, and the on-screen menuing system is friendly. But I have two complaints: the built-in speakers are terrible (very tinny, no bass at all, like I'm listening to a small transistor radio that's muffled), and the stand is terrible (non-adjustable, and the slightest shake to my desk makes the display wiggle back and forth for a moment like a bobblehead.     • Dell gives horrible service, do not purchase
I bought this monitor in 2021 with a stipend from work. It worked great for about a year and I was pleased with it overall. About a year after I bought it, the power cable stopped working. More specifically, the power cord would no longer fit solidly into the socket and made gentle electrical noises like it wasn't connecting. I google this issue, it's VERY COMMON for Dell monitors and online people indicate to reach out for warranty help. Thankfully, my monitor was just in warranty, so I go through the whole online chat thing (which took more than 45 minutes). The guy assured me a new cord was going to be sent. However, i get a confusing email from Dell later that night indicating my case has been closed, no follow-up about the power cord being sent. So I log in AGAIN, go through explaining my whole story AGAIN, send the photos AGAIN, and share my address and phone number AGAIN so they can dispatch a cord. I think everything is fine. A week goes by and no cord. So I log back into Dell's system to check... and there's no second case. First case was closed, second case doesn't exist. I'm still getting weird emails from Dell saying that a "technician is being dispatched to my location" which is mildly alarming. Do I really need a technician to install a power cord? Well then Dell starts calling me urging me to confirm this appointment, expect the address is in another state across the country. I have no idea what's going on until a very confused Dell technician calls me yesterday to ask why I'm not at home. I explain that I am not the person they are looking for, I am very sorry but Dell has made a mistake. Today I contact Dell to try for a THIRD TIME and I'm still getting the run around. Clearly their game is to produce faulty hardware, hope that it expires out of warranty and to give terrible service when it expires in-warranty to prevent people from getting it replaced. At this point I've been without a monitor for 3 weeks and I'm about to break down and go to the store to replace the power cord. Super disappointing and disgusting behavior from this company. I will NEVER buy another Dell product again. ... show more

I bought this Dell 27" QHD monitor to replace my older 24" FHD monitors. The screen size & resolution matches perfectly, the display quality is great for text, photo editing and videos. Got this for gaming on Xbox one (that won’t see > 60hz )and it’s awesome with qhd ! Night and day difference coming from a tv. Super smooth gameplay and the color is nice aswell. No dead pixels or anything upon arrival and it’s a nice looking monitor too. Definitely recommend from my experience.
