A basic monitor with a surprisingly high-qualiy picture
Frankly, not much of a review of the screen itself because it's perfect. Might as well be a photograph. I do note the viewing angle is so wide that it has no color or picture shifting even when you look at it totally from the side edge on. I do stream video sometime on it (Amazon Prime Video, NetFlix, etc.) and I might as well be watching a TV. I Don't use it for gaming (I don't do shot 'em ups or GTA stuff) so can't comment about that. Specs look good, but gamers are super hard core about bleeding, ghosting, etc. so no opinion there. I will say that blacks are very black, which is good, not the funky dark brown/green/blotchy/yuk stuff. I had a SE2717H (prior model of this one) that died after being on 24/7 for over two years. My other SE2717H is going strong and right next to this one. Picture is awesome, I love the IPS screen and I can work all day on it with no eye strain. IPS is all I buy anymore for myself or recommend to others. There are slightly better technologies out there now, but not for the money, especially MY money. ... show more

Good for inexpensive home office setup
Works well for my home office, easy to see text, nice and bright, and good color filters for lowering amount of blue light. 75hz capable as well The stand can be adjusted, but is not very tall. I would have it set on something a bit higher up than your desk, but the screen can also be tilted upwards. ... show more

The adjustable height is not great but overall the picture quality is good and it is reliable
I bought this for working remotely and it works great! I wish the vertical adjustment was a little more but overall it is simple to set up and the picture quality is great. It is also lightweight and mostly plastic. I was worried about the quality at first but I think it is good overall. It did the trick to give me additional screen space/real estate and helped with my ergonomic setup so I did not have to strain to look at a tiny laptop screen. I paired this with a wireless keyboard and ergonomic mouse. It is working out well for me! I would buy this again for the affordability and the decent picture quality. I am not using this for videos or gaming so I cannot speak to that. ... show more

Love this product!
I bought this for my home office and I love it!! It has great picture quality and is bright. I used to be obsessed with LG monitors but this takes the cake. The fact that it moves up and down and I can rotate it to be vertical is even better. I will be purchasing another one.

What I've Come To Expect From Dell Monitors
I lucked out getting this when it was half off! I was on a 10 year old Dell monitor, and figured it was time to upgrade. Dell makes very good monitors. One thing I immediately noticed was that the monitor shows TRUE white. A lot of monitors have a yellowish tint to the white. It's also BRIGHT, and the colors pop. I'm visually impaired, and this has helped enormously. I'm really not a gamer, but Netflix and Hulu look amazing! Two notes. Firstly, check the advanced display settings in Windows. By default, it'll often use 60hz. Bump it up! Secondly, it DOES NOT have speakers. It has a headphone pass through. I'm thoroughly satisfied. ... show more

Awesome addition to my workspace.
This is a great entry/mid level monitor. I have no issues with this and like that it the monitor swivels both left and right and and be positioned vertically. The image quality and responsiveness is extremely quick with no glitches. I use this as an extended monitor display for work and for personal use in photography, surfing the web, working in Excel and its great. Not flimsy at all, the stand is functional and stylish which does not make it an eye sore. ... show more
