I purchased this monitor as a refurbished product, but from the time I opened it until this very day. It has not performed nor does it look like a refurbished product. I needed a cheap monitor with decent image quality for photo editing, video editing, and some occasional gaming. I experience zero latency issues when playing games like World of Warcraft, Counter Strike, and Call of Duty. It acted as my main and only monitor for about a month before I added in a new Primary monitor and switched it over to my secondary. It works beautifully as a dual monitor setup and has never frozen up on me or crashed for any reason. Would highly recommend it as a budget option for someone in need of a new monitor.

This monitor is really good for normal computer use and maybe some light gaming that is not graphics intense. If you are a gamer you probably are not looking at this monitor anyway. Some graphics cards out there cost more that a laptop computer; so a $65 monitor is not what you want. A serious gaming monitor should have an HDMI output. This monitor is VGA. Now lets get to the normal use people like myself. I need something affordable and with great picture quality. It also needed to be VGA, I will elaborate on that later. I basically shop online and do a lot of Microsoft Office stuff like Word and Excel. This monitor is the size I need and the pictures seems to be sharper compared to my older monitor. I needed a VGA output because I have several computer hooked up to a KVM switch that uses VGA. A KVM switch is where you have several computers hooked up to one mouse, keyboard and monitor. With the KVM switch you are able to toggle back and forth between computers. I had a custom built computer with Windows 10 on it. All the other computers displayed fine on my monitor except for the Windows 10 machine. After many adjustments and setting the display quality was poor. I realized I needed a new monitor that had a VGA output. I did some searching and found this monitor. I am pleased to say this monitor works well with my Windows 10 machine. Bottom line this is a great affordable monitor for people who still need VGA and are not heavy gamers.

Great for browsing and viewing video solo. Internal speakers are worthless need head phones or add on speakers. Best price point I could find in its Class for recognized name brand.

Downside we had to buy adaptors for our little Mac Mini. The great news is that it is a really lovely update from our last monitor. This one is only about 2 inches larger but you can ofsalkg see that sometimes Small changes can make a huge difference. Growing up in ATX where Dell is headquartered makes a nice difference. If I ever have a problem with any issues I'm sure I will have a friend who's worked in the dwpaetnwvf who can talk me through it. Dell had a lot of problems in the early to mid 1990's where the company outgrew their ability to handle customer service. These problems have been fixed, but I think it follows Dell Around like a black cloud even to this day! It's been 20 years. The colors and crispness to the images are great. I can't honestly say I know much about monitors, however, it's quiet and large, beautiful colors, fantastic. The design is sleek and despite my hometown pride, but that's not the reason why I'm giving it good marks. I'm giving a good review because Dell has come a long way in making incredible products. They give back. TON to the community including the financing of the children's hospital. So if you're weighing in on 2 monitors who are very much like one another with similar functions and price, you may want to buy one who's owner is a really good guy who does really honestly excellent things with the profit he'll get off the

Please first note, this review is for the 24" inch version only. Bought this for under $100 last week from Amazon directly. Really nice monitor, very light weight, maybe 8 lbs, perfect for a triple monitor mount, as it won't outweigh the stand and make it unbalanced. I'm using this via display port cable to my AMD card and this is powering my center - main display for my eyefinity setup. The blacks on this think are at least twice as good for gaming then my 24" Asus which I bought for $150 a couple years ago and is connected via HDMI. Overall I'm happy with this purchase and would buy a second one if they go cheap, under $100 again. As buying a 24" monitor buy a great monitor brand such as Dell with a display port connection for under $100 is unheard of, except maybe on black Friday or Cyber Monday. Negatives - The stand it comes with is horrible, through it away immediately and get a custom stand if you have more then one monitor on your desk. - No HDMI and DVI, knew this buying the product but it would have been nice to have an HDMI port if they can afford a display port..
