I ADORE this monitor, and that I got it at an exceptional price - $600. Like all OLED monitors, the colors are brilliant, and the true blacks make the picture pop. Two features that are particularly useful for me are a huge plus, and not seen in other monitors are that are even more expensive. 1. The challenge: find a portable TV big enough to provide a high-quality viewing experience from a coffee table, but that can also be put away when not in use. (Why not a 32" smart TV? They have poor image quality, worse audio, unusably slow and glitchy UI, and they report what you watch and send it to manufacturers and advertisers.) A Dell S3225QC paired with a MeLE Fanless Quieter 4C N150 PC nails it. The PC sits nicely on the base of the monitor stand, and connects with USB-C and draws power from the monitor, so the whole setup requires only a single power cable to the wall. The built-in speakers are more than loud enough for coffee-table-to-couch viewing, and a Logitech K400 for keyboard/mouse control completes the setup. Hands down the best monitor I’ve purchased. It is like an iMac monitor but for windows. It is a jack of all trades with a powerful soundbar that leaves nothing on the table. The flat panel is massive and incredibly bright. I was worried that OLED would be dimmer than my old IPS panel. It was not. It lights up the entire room with how bright it gets. The value is insane with this monitor. Nowhere else will you get the unparalleled value that this gives you. My only complaint is that I wish I found this monitor before I wasted money on speakers that I no longer use. ... show more

    • Dell really dropped the ball on this one.

Beautiful image (I believe it's a Samsung panel) but the Dell firmware and drivers are extremely buggy, are not user friendly, have some very annoying issues with Windows 11 "Power & Sleep" settings, and have probable conflicts with other PC display drivers. See below for more details: After a "Turn screen off" timeout occurs, this display can prevent Windows 11 from turning on ANY displays currently connected to your PC. This requires you to either unplug and re-plug ALL the displays currently connected or to reset the PC and loose any unsaved work. It also has issues going into and coming out of "Windows Sleep Mode". It will sometimes not turn off the "pixel refresh" it does while Windows is in sleep mode and the screen is on standby. This means after you turn your PC back on, your screen will be cycling through brightly colored screens every second or so "Red, Green, Blue and White" and you will need to manually turn the monitor off and on again to fix this. And speaking of the "Pixel Refresh", this screen requires it with every 4 hours of use (this is standard and is also on my other QD-OLED display) but it WONT TELL YOU WHEN IT'S REQUIRED. No pop-up, nothing! My MSI screen FORCES the pixel refresh after 4 hours of continual use, but Dell assumes every user is going to have the screen in standby mode within every 4 hours of use or so and assumes no-one will use the display to stream more than 4 hours of video at a time. you need to manually check and run the the pixel refresh from the OSD menu (this usually takes about 3-5 minutes), and instead of turning back on when it finishes, it simply powers off and requires you to baby sit the screen and manually turn it back on when it's done. I recommend waiting until Dell releases firmware to address these issues, or play it real safe and wait until another revision of this Display is made next year. Love this monitor for this price, first and foremost. It has an incredible display, and the speakers are nifty if you don’t want to bother with your own setup. Two drawbacks here: - only one HDMI port and no DVI (though you can make the USB-C port one with an adapter) - doesn’t get very bright, even in HDR With that sad, still a beautiful monitor. I didn’t get any type of wine in my monitor so I cannot comment on that. ... show more

At 120hz is more than enough for the wife's school PC and provides just the amount of screen space for her to do side by side work. She really likes the front firing speakers.
