I ordered this Delilyn 25FT/7.5M Power Extension Cable Compatible with WYZE Cam Pan V3 to replace a chewed-up cable. Last week, my Wyze Cam Pan V3 stopped working for no apparent reason. I cut and restored the power but it would not come back on. I assumed it was dead and grabbed a second Cam Pan. I connected the new Cam Pan using the original power cube and cable and... it didn't work. I tried changing the power cube but no dice. I finally switched out the power cable and everything was back to normal. Now I had a working Cam Pan but no cable for my second one. First I checked the Wyze website and, of course, the cable was out of stock. Delilyn to the rescue. There is not a lot of room to connect a cable to the Cam Pan V3 as it needs to be weatherproof. The cable is designed to fit snugly and is L-shaped so that the cable fits into a slot between the Cam Pan and the mounting plate. This Delilyn fit perfectly, and I'm confident that it is just as weather proof as the OEM cable. As an added bonus, it's significantly longer than the OEM cable, allowing me to plug my Cam Pan in without using an extension cord. A+! ... show more

The Wyze Cam Pan V3 is a great camera, but the fact that it takes a proprietary micro-USB cable makes it a little tough if you're not placing it in close proximity to an outlet. The included cable only gets you a couple feet, so something like this extension cable is an absolute must if you want some added flexibility in your placement. It seems fairly identical to the OEM Wyze cable with the 90-degree angled micro-USB connection to the camera, but at 25 feet, you'll have plenty of options for where to place your camera – inside or outside. I'm using with the black camera, so the only drawback is that it doesn't match the color, but that's not really a big deal since it's mostly out of sight. I replaced a damaged cable with one of these, since they were much cheaper than getting one from WYZE. As far as I can tell, it's identical to the original one. It fit right into the camera, and seals and works well. Why pay more?

The media could not be loaded. The Wyze cameras come with around a 5 and a half foot long power cable. This is fine for your cameras that are going to be mounted close to a power outlet. This 25 foot extension cable will allow you to mount your security camera in hard to reach areas, further from your available outlet. Take a measurement first, and see if the 25 feet will be sufficient for your needed installation point. ... show more
