This e-file is PERFECT for someone who does soft gel tips/acrylics/gels etc. on themselves. In fact, I'd be willing to use it on a friend. It can go nice and slow for cuticle upkeep and working on the natural nail and fast enough to grind through product. I highly recommend purchasing a set of good quality cuticle bits and a good quality set of ceramic bits to go with it because the bits it comes with are standard. Do NOT try to use the bits it comes with on your cuticles or natural nail plates unless you are highly skilled and know what you're doing. This thing can seriously hurt or damage your fingers if you don't know what you're doing or aren't super careful. I've been doing nails for a long time unlicenced, since 2002/2003, so I've used SOOOO many of the e-files that one can purchase without a tech license and this is the first one I've felt deserved a 5-star review. Finding one that goes fast and hard is easy... It's finding one that goes slow enough (without being huge and requiring a pedal) that is hard, and you won't sellers mention that in the descriptions. THIS one hits the mark perfectly on being small, portable, convenient, great quality, and capable of the full spectrum of work. It's the one you're looking for, trust me. Get it.
