This is perfect for my 20yo daughter. She just got her first apartment & this has all the essential tools she should need to get by for some time to come! My husband & I have an arsenal of tools due to the numerous home improvement projects we've encountered over 31 years & this basic tool set will serve her quite nicely until she buys a fixer-upper home & needs more specialized tools. I wanted her to have both needle nose & slip joint pliers which was surprisingly not very common at this price point. This set was perfect! I bought this for my 9 yo nephew as his first tool kit. He thought it was totally awesome. Only thing I removed was the utility knife, as he has 5 yo brother that gets into everything Big Brother get's into. Great for a GP around the house small job tool kit.
