This little simply made plastic tool box is as cheap as they can get yet can carry a weight it clearly wasn't designed for. It's scary to use at first because it feels so flimsy, yet I fill it up with drill press accessories and carry it around without fail. This will sound weird, but I couldn't find a tin to send my dad goodies for his birthday. The reviews for those kept saying they arrived dinged, and it was too close to when I had to ship to take the chance, so I got the toolbox. It held the food, and I figured he could either use it or recycle it. The lock holds very well, and it traveled, full, over 3k miles and arrived fine. It is on the cheaper side, but my dad said he was going to use it to hold all his power cords for the small electronics he has. The tray inside is a little wonky, though. ... show more

I gave this as a Christmas gift for my grandson and expected better from the Craftsman name. Somehow in the time he opened it the latch was gone and now we are using a wire bread tie to keep it closed.

I purchased the CRAFTSMAN Tool Box, drawn in by the trusted brand name, but I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed. First off, the construction feels incredibly flimsy. I wouldn't recommend this box for anyone who needs a reliable tool storage solution for daily or even weekly use. The quality doesn’t live up to what I expected from CRAFTSMAN. Additionally, the latch that is supposed to keep the box securely shut has been a constant issue. It doesn’t close properly, which is frustrating, especially if you’re trying to transport your tools. Overall, I’m very disappointed with this purchase. I expected much more from a brand like CRAFTSMAN, and this toolbox isn’t worth the money.
