I have two dogs that did some counter surfing while I was gone. They ate five sticks of butter, paper and all. When I returned they had vomit and diarrhea all over the place. I spent four back-breaking days trying to get the vomit smell from my two-year-old couch and the carpet I had installed three years ago. I tried everything I could think of that had a chance of killing the smell. I hired a carpet cleaner to come in and that didn’t help. I used a handheld Bissell machine on the couch, scrubbed the couch with dish soap and hot water, washed the cushions covers three times in the washer, left the cushions outside for days in the fresh air, not to mention using a handful of smelly sprays. The vomit and poo smell was still there. I had decided I was going to have to replace the couch and pull up the carpet and pad. I had even made a phone calls to the furniture store to see if they still carried my couch. I was googling hardwood floor companies in town. At the last minute I decided to get on Amazon and look to see if there was something amazing out there to try one last time. I came across Defunkify Oder Remover spray that had outstanding reviews by everyone. I just wish I would have done that at the beginning as I am on my third chiropractor appointment for the back and neck problems I have from the deep cleaning of everything the dogs got sick on (it wasn’t just the couch and furniture). I can not believe after one round of spray on the couch and carpet I have no more smell. That was four days ago and still, no smell. I will always make sure I have a bottle of this on hand. It is an AMAZING product. Do yourself a huge favor and buy this. You won’t regret it.

Couldn’t be happier with this amazing product. We recently purchased a new home that has carpet in a few of the bedrooms. Former owners were smokers and we couldn’t get the old, stale stink out. It was awful! Then we had a frozen pipe burst over the holidays and the downstairs carpeted family room flooded. Horrible mess, but not as horrible as the putrid odor after it finally dried. Apparently the former owners also had pets who relieved themselves on the carpet. Enough said… so offensive we no longer could use the beautiful room. We tried Lysol, containers that claim to absorb odors, we deep shampooed carpets, etc. Nothing worked for either situation. We were resigned to rip out all the house carpets. Then I read about Defunkify. The reviews were so positive I thought why not try one more time… Success! Our home smells wonderful - clean and neutral. Just used it in our cars for a quick freshen up. So grateful for this product that actually works! Happy happy! Highly recommend!

No one likes to speak of anything in their home smelling but between 3 guys and a dog in our home, I consider this a staple! Defunkify Odor eliminator and laundry detergent are the only things I’ve found so far that successfully cuts and eliminates smelly odors such as armpit odors, stinky sock smells, food odors, funky towel smells, stinky gym clothes that were left in a gym bag, etc. You may have to use a lot of this spray for a item that’s especially stinky and maybe even have let it soak on the fabric or wash it twice but I find that it works wonders. Its not the cheapest but it works! I’ll cut something else from my budget before I have to give this stuff up. Lastly, 2 out 4 members of my family are highly sensitive to smells - both good and bad. Scented laundry items, candles, sprays and cleaners with synthetic scents often give me terrible migraines or puts my child and I into a sneezing frenzy but this does not bother any of us at all.

I've got some stinky feet, I'll admit to that. So my shoes combined with my husband's work shoes made our shoe closet quite unpleasant.....but this stuff combined with some charcoal shoe deodorizers COMPLETELY got rid of the smells!!! I was shocked and amazed. Now I just spray our problem shoes every few days and give the entire shoe closet a light spritz every now and then.

I have three dogs: one is geriatric, the other two are under a year old. To top it off, I’m an athlete and I live in a hot climate. Stink is built in. And I’m sensitive to it. I might own three dogs, but I don’t want my house to smell like I do. I might pass out on the couch sweaty after a long bicycle tour, but I don’t want to smell the consequences of that indiscretion. Enter: Defunkify. This stuff is miraculous. I’ve used it to eliminate odor after cleaning stains, to freshen musty/unused areas of the house, to deodorize couches and rugs from the dogs and sweat and sleep, to freshen clothes and bags, to make my car smell better after months of not driving it (thanks, pandemic). This works. For everything. Initially, there’s a strong, but pleasant and natural scent of lavender. After about 30-45 minutes, that dissipates, leaving a smell of NOTHING behind. And there is no smell more wonderful than ABSOLUTELY. NOTHING. Candles leave a gross odor as the aroma gets stale a few days after they’ve been blown out. Febreze and Glade and similarly just “mask” the odors and have to be sprayed/replenished every few days. Defunkify (thanks to the colloidal silver) actually eliminates the source of the odor. Please never discontinue this product. My only suggestion for improvement would be gallon jugs for refills - I hate that I have to buy new spray bottles each time. I can only reuse so many and will soon have to start throwing them out (one bottle in each room already) which is awful for the environment. But the product is worth every penny.
