Much better quality and build than I expected for the money. The lights on the dash actually work and provide more light than I thought they would. The tires are thick and provide great traction. The camera quality is, frankly, amazing. We purchased this to run in the crawl of my 200 year old office building so we strapped a high powered flash light to the side and it works like a charm. My only note, is that it takes practice to get this car to go slowly. Much fun!

My 7 year old son got this from "Santa" and he absolutely loves it. He was able to quickly understand how to use the remote control to drive the car. The vehicle itself feels sturdy and has had no problems after being driven into the walls at top speed as my son learned to drive it. He especially loves to make videos and take pictures of his other toys with it. The companion app is easy enough for him to load up and use by himself to take his pictures and make his movies. He is always "secretly" taking video of us. LOL. If you are thinking of getting this, do it. You will be very satisfied.

I misplaced the documentation to load the operating app. I contacted DEERC customer support via email and they promptly responded and provided an email copy of the QRC. The app was easily uploaded on my additional phone.

the remote controls are fussy, you have very little room between moving slowly and full on high speed. The remote appeal to be a proportional control for steering, but in fact it's full left / full right and no in between. - which makes for a working toy for a kid, but not really much for adults. the camera works fine, and is run from an Ad-Hoc wifi connection, it's got a little too much delay to actually drive by, though, so understand what you are getting. that said, the kid loves it, and it's a decent price for what it is.

After owning the car for just a few minutes, the wheels malfunctioned and would not turn. I contacted the manufacturer. Since they weren’t able to repair or walk me through a repair, they sent a replacement immediately. We’ve had this car for a day and no issues. I’m really pleased the company was responsive and apologetic. The car itself is really fun. My ten year old was able to unbox and get the car up and running himself and downloaded and figured out the app himself. He likes the camera and says the car is easy to drive. This is his first RC car.
