Overall, I’m quite pleased with these shoes. They seem reasonably well constructed, and look quite nice with the majority of my work attire (business casual). The fit is a little looser than I was expecting, though that’s not necessarily an issue, as I’m just accustomed to somewhat tight fitting shoes as a result of having wide feet (particularly in the toes). I haven’t noticed any creasing in them, but also tend to either only wear them every other day or for only a couple days at a time, and spend most of my day seated, so they might just be getting a little less wear than some would put on them. I was hoping for a bit of a taller, more dramatic looking, heel than these have, but they work rather well on that front nonetheless. I will say they needed a little breaking in, and the soles are still a bit stiff, but they’re softening into a fantastic pair of shoes. Definitely worth considering, just be prepared to work them a bit at first, to soften them up before they become more comfortable, and you might want to invest in some inserts for extra support and padding. ... show more

Nice looking but size is all over the map and definitely not accurate. I would not buy again. Not indective of Deer Stag quality as far as sizing nice looking boots it uncomfortable. Right boot is tighter than left. Will stay away from Deer Stag and have bought 6 pair of boots and shoes with no problems but not again. ... show more

The good stuff first. The shoes look nice and slip on easy. They support my foot somewhat. The arch support could be better though. Their memory foam soles aren’t bad. I’m a big guy and my foot is pretty comfy overall. They fit true to size. I definitely wouldn’t try walking through anything more than a puddle in those bad boys though. This is the second pair of Deer Stags I've bought in recent years, and never again. I've heard people say they used to be a good brand, and I have no reason to know otherwise as I hadn't bought them until this last few years, but both of these purchases have been horrendous. This is obviously not a leather boot; I knew that going into it. However, the first time I wore them briefly for less than a few minutes inside the house, it left a crease across the top that did not go away. I have other pairs made out of synthetic leather—this PU or polyurethane substitute that many cheap manufacturers of shoes and boots use. The other two pairs I bought for between $20 and $25 have held up extremely well after having them two and a half years and wearing them many dozens of times. They still look like leather and have no creases. This is a horrendous boot made from horrible materials. Avoid this product and Deer Stags at all costs. ... show more

I love LEATHER! These Deer Stag shoes are FAKE leather. I rarely purchase anything made of FAKE leather. But, hey, for $20 if these last a while I'll be satisfied. They will be worn only occasionally, not for long. These slip on shoes show flawless manufacture. Every stitch lines up perfectly from one shoe to the other. Not a smidgeon of glue showing.
